Were the 1993 Stations of the Cross with a Female Jesus an Early Push for "Transgenderism" in the Church?

Mother Angelica was hopping mad about it. And in retrospect, was this deliberate abomination an early move to soften us up to accept the radicalism of "gender fluidity" that's grown in the past thirty years to become a major threat against our children?

Don't be silly, you are probably thinking. The "transgender" movement is recent, only the past few years.

Love the Traditional Latin Mass? Pray Through the Intercession of Mother Angelica!

Where's Mother Angelica when you need her? Watching over us and saying it's going to be all right! "Express your needs...whatever it is!" Mother Angelica may not be a-live, but she's still bigger than life on Mother Angelica Live!

Listen to her defend the traditional and lament the loss of what has been stolen from us.

Sunday Meditation: "Take up your cross and follow me."

The Carthusian martyrs of England joyfully accepted martyrdom. St. Thomas More seeing them  from his own prison cell wrote to his daughter Margaret, “these blessed fathers be now as cheerfully going to their deaths as bridegrooms to a marriage." (Source)
My friend and colleague, Dexter Duggan, reported in last week's Wanderer on Cardinal Raymond  Burke's address to Catholic Health Care Workers in Phoenix, AZ. His comments on suffering seem especially poignant during this month dedicated to the suffering souls in Purgatory.

More on Garabandal: Mother Angelica's interview with Maria Saraco in June 1994

This brought back so many memories. I used to love to tune in to Mother Angelica Live every week. What a loss to the airwaves when she had her stroke. But even that loss was a gain since suffering brings so much grace. Let us resolve to offer all our sufferings in union with the Passion of Christ for our own personal conversion and the conversion of the world.

Mother Angelica, pray for us!

The Beginning of a Great Adventure with Jesus

As I watched this video I thought of St. Therese entering the Carmel at fourteen and of St. Clare running away in the middle of the night to be shorn and clothed in the robes of what came to be the Poor Clares. What a blessing for this young woman as she knocks on the door and enters into the Eucharistic Presence to try her vocation. Please pray for her and all those exploring religious vocations. And pray for Mother Angelica whose medical situation is precarious. They have put her on a feeding tube and she continues to suffer for all of us. May God bless her with strength and courage.

What a Joy to See and Hear the Voice of my Hero, Fr. John Hardon, S.J.

Thanks to Michael Voris for this walk down memory lane with Fr. Hardon. Every night when we pray our rosary and recite the tessera of the Legion of Mary we add his name and say, "Fr. Hardon, pray for us!" He truly was an icon of the 20th century preparing us for the difficult days of the 21st! And I was so blessed to attend two retreats he gave and many home school conferences at which he spoke. Thank you, Fr. Hardon, for giving us courage to resist.

Let me repeat Fr. Hardon's words:
Why was there a Judas? One of the reasons the Church gives is to prepare the faithful for apostate bishops. And you see how important it is for bishops to remain faithful to Jesus Christ and his vicar on earth. No heresy has ever succeeded in history unless and until it was backed by a bishop. Pray, pray, pray for bishops!
Yes, pray for the bishops. Many among them are Judases and apostates. Let's pray for the discernment to recognize them and warn the faithful against them.
