I've spent most of my adult life fighting for the little ones in the womb waiting to be born. For many infants, it's the most dangerous place in the world. That was recently emphasized by the attempt of a couple to force the surrogate mother carrying "their" baby to undergo abortion because the little one had a curable heart problem. She refused and fled from the biological parents who live in the death state of California to Texas where the little one could be treated after birth.

Little Warrior, Alfie Evans, Goes to His Final Resting Place -- Baby Alfie, Pray for Us!
| Tom Evans carries his little warrior to his final resting place. |
It looks like one more victory for the culture of death, but it isn't! Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. The agony of Alfie in the hospital room and his personal crucifixion ends up, like Christ's, in Resurrection and Pentecost.
I'm praying to little Alfie for the defeat of the satanic forces working to gut the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution (May 25th) that defends the right of babies in the womb. I have no doubt the little warrior is on the job!

Another Abomination on the Horizon: Once-a-Month "Contraceptive"
"A contraceptive tablet that acts like the morning-after pill but could be taken up to a month after sex is probably scientifically possible and would be welcomed by women, scientists have said.
"But the authors of a paper in a leading medical journal say efforts to get such a pill on the market could falter because of the political controversy likely to be kicked up by opponents of abortion.
"The authors of the paper in the Journal of Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care, part of the British Medical Journal group, would like to see funding for exploratory work on a post-sex pill, which they anticipate would be similar to the morning-after pill but used routinely and potentially as rarely as once a month or only after the woman has missed a period. The morning-after pill has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex." [Read more here.]

Aren't the death peddlars salivating at the thought of one more way to kill babies in the womb. But it is encouraging to see that they believe pro-lifers would make it politically difficult. I remember back in the 70s the pro-aborts' relief at Roe v. Wade which "ended" the debate. Little did they know it was just beginning because of the zeal of pro-lifers who see the baby in the womb as the least of God's little one.
And we will never stop fighting! This new weapon of mass destruction, Mary, Mother of Life, pray for us!

Pro-Lifers Said Mass Euthanasia was Next. We were Right!
The Belgian Parliament is about to pass a new law to let children ask for death. Have you ever heard your little son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter say, "I wish I was dead!" Well, if you live in Belgium don't let them say it in the doctor's office, because they might just get what they wish for and parents will be out of the decision-making loop.
Belgian Parliament Posed To Approve Child Euthanasia Law
Mike Adams, the Health Ranger and editor of Natural News, is up in arms as all people of good will should be. He expressed his outrage in an article, Euthanasia for children nears approval by Belgian Parliament; doctors to mass euthanize children and Alzheimers patients.
Since when is killing people health care? Oops, I forgot, killing unborn children has been health care since 1973 in every state in the U.S. So I guess this next step of killing born children is the natural next step. Why not? Killing the elderly, handicapped, and debilitated has been going on under the radar screen (and sometimes very much on it - like Hugh Finn and Terry Schiavo) for years.
Which brings me to the Groningen Protocol

A New Abortion Approach: The Bully Strategy
![]() |
| "One may smile and smile and be a villain." |
There's been a lot of chatter in pro-life circles about the Salon article by Mary Elizabeth Williams, So What if Abortion Ends Life? I confess the article sickens me. It illustrates the new abortion approach which can be summarized as the "bully strategy....Hey, I'm bigger than you are so I get to be the boss!" Here's a 40 plus woman who says, "Yes, life begins at conception, so what?" In other words, it doesn't matter whether the little one in the womb is a human life; the mother's choice trumps the baby's right to life. And it's only "wingnuts" on the right who want to intimidate people like her who want to have "conversations" about which lives are worth living and who gets to kill whom. Here's some of what she says with my comments in red:
Here’s the complicated reality in which we live [watch out for those who want to take something simple like, "Thou shalt not murder." and make it complicated]: All life is not equal. [Right! That's what Hitler thought when he called the Jews subhuman and it's what Stalin thought when he starved the Ukranians to death and what Plutarco Calles thought when he murdered priests and Catholics in Mexico.] That’s a difficult thing for liberals like me to talk about, lest we wind up looking like death-panel-loving, kill-your-grandma-and-your-precious-baby storm troopers.
