Illegally Entering a Country Isn't Lawbreaking?

VIRGINIA'S CATHOLIC BISHOPS SAY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT 'LAWBREAKERS'

You can read the bishops' letter here

Note that the letter touts the tax benefits of the invasion while completely ignoring the devastating financial impact on communities overrun with illegals And if you want to see the impact on one state, look at poor Arizona.  and at the small southern California town of Greenfield.Start prosecuting businesses who want illegals because they are cheap slave labor!

Humpty-Dumpty is famous for his statement in Through the Looking Glass that "When I use a word it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less." Unfortunately for the Catholic Church there are plenty of Humpty-Dumpties pontificating from their chanceries practicing the egghead's "freedom to choose" their own definitions. So words take on entirely new meanings. Illegals invading the country aren't "lawbreakers" but neighbors. Well, they were also neighbors when they lived in their own countries. Why don't the bishops lobby for changes there?

Strangely, the bishops, who have been very loud on protecting the status of illegals, have been completely silent over immigrant home-schooling families trying to escape draconian persecution in their countries of origin or Chinese families persecuted under the one-child/forced abortion policy. I'm all for having a looser immigration policy for the politically persecuted. Let's bring in the Chaldean Christians from Iraq who have almost been eradicated following our "rescue" mission there.

Perhaps I'm a little cynical after following the U.S. bishops for thirty years, but is their big push for immigration reform really more about their own alliance with the Democrat party? They are isolated in their marble towers with flunkies to maintain their princely lifestyles.

As for the two bishops in Virginia, I have a proposal. You both have plenty of room in your bishops' mansions. Please open your doors to welcome the stranger. Be an example to your people by making your spare bedrooms available to those in need.
