I mentioned Simone Gold yesterday in the post on Fr. Gordon MacRae and came across an interesting interview with Jordan Peterson which is well worth watching. It shows exactly how evil the January six aftermath was and how the left used felony threats to get people to plea bargain down to misdemeanors. The liberals in power wanted to be able to say, "They admitted guilt." And then, of course, they had the mock Congressional hearings to "prove" it was an "insurrection." Meanwhile, the real insurrections happening in our cities are called "mostly peaceful" by the drive-by media as buildings burn in the background and rioters attack police, loot businesses, and vandalize government buildings.
What happened to Simone Gold is the same thing that has happened to others especially pro-lifers like Mark Houck. Thank God he fought back and ended up winning a seven figure settlement from a lawsuit against the U.S. government.
Democrats use the FBI and the Justice Department to persecute those who refuse to bend the knee to their evil agenda. Pro-lifers know all about that and have for years. And now that the Democrats have taken the House and the Senate watch for my draconian laws suppressing free speech and criminalizing wrongthink. Fortunately Trump has the veto pen, but if the Democrats take the presidency in two years, it will be devastating for our children and grandchildren. I wonder when we will find ourselves at the tipping point when we know longer have the Constitutional Republic the founders envisioned.
Start working now to prevent the spread of the evil. How? Fight at the local level to begin with. In 2021 Derrick Wilburn, a black father, the descendent of slaves, spoke at a school board hearing in Colorado Springs opposing critical race theory. Listen to his testimony! The board ended up voting 3 to 2 against CRT in the schools. Let us go and do likewise in our own communities. That's where we can have the most impact. Tomorrow I think I'll take a rosary walk in town and sprinkle holy water.
