One of the reasons that adult stem research is not getting the support that embryonic stem cell research is can be summarized in one word - MONEY! Embryonic stem cell lines can be patented and make big bucks for companies. You can't patent a person's own stem cells. But look at the miracle of healing that is possible because of research into the use of adult stem cells. Praise God!
Money's involved?...shocking, shocking.
ReplyDeleteI saw this story the other day and it made me want to cry with joy and awe. It also makes me sad knowing that if all of the money was going good, ethical research, just how many cures like this would be found?
