Christians Being Censored by New Media Outlets

Don't you love it! "Censorship" is the accusation often used to target Christians who oppose pornographic films, TV series, and books. But the same liberals who scream "censorship" when they see people of faith opposing filth are the first ones to censor the free speech of Christians who dare to criticize their sacred cows.

See Report: Facebook, Google, Apple censor religious speech

So take a stand for free speech. Defend traditional marriage on your facebook page today!

  1. These business policies are not personal attacks on religion. Business is not personal and the linked article is making a mountain out of a mole hill. It's all about making money. That's all apple, google, facebook etc. wants. If your content gets in the way of profit then it's headed to the chopping block.

  2. From a business standpoint your comment makes no sense to me. There are certainly lots more Christians than homosexuals, but that didn't keep Apple from discriminating against pro-lifers by banning The Manhatten Declaration app. Many businesses have a homosexual bias. They will offend Christians dozens of times before they will offend the "gay" community. We need to organize and make them feel it in the pocket book. That's why I love Don Wildmon's million moms project.

  3. Perhaps it is because there are many Christians who are also supportive of our homosexual brothers and sisters? Stating that all Christians are "offended" such business practices is false. I do believe that it is a numbers issue - while people like you are certainly vocal and media-saavy, you are still in the minority.

  4. And how do you know that I'm in the minority? Do you have any evidence to substantiate your claim?

And exactly how is it loving and Christian to "support" a deathstyle that takes years off a person's life and makes him or her unhealthy and at higher risk of domestic abuse and suicide?

If you studied biology you know that the reproductive system and the excretory system are not interchangeable, no matter how much homosexuals like to play let's pretend that they are.

  5. I am Anon at 8:21...

Since I'm an Endocrinologist, I've had a bit of human A&P. You get so angry about homosexuality. I feel sorry for you that you are so threatened. Just as you did not choose to be attracted to people of the opposite sex; they did not choose to be attracted to the same sex. Believe me, I have had many patients who ask why they were created to be homosexual. One day we will have the answer. And no, I have no data except what is gleaned in my personal and professional life. Most of us are just not threatened by the gay people we meet, work with and know on a daily basis. I've had a lesbian partner in my practice for 20+ years and describe her as competent, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Her sexuality is just not an issue, which is why you aren't going to get a lot of other Christians (like me) to support business practices that are discriminatory.

  6. You're mistaken when you say I'm angry "about homosexuality." What makes me angry is trying to force the rest of the world to accept and advance the gay agenda. Sending home the "diversity bookbag" with kindergarteners and holding workshops with teens to explain homosexual practices in disgusting detail and invite them to explore the lifestyle (Practices on record in Massachusetts)is immoral.

As for discriminatory business practices, we are talking about discriminating against a Christian group. If homosexuals have the right to free speech to push their deviant lifestyle, do Christians not have an equal right to promote their moral view? It was the Christians who were denied publication of the Apple free app, not the homosexuals. But maybe you favor discrimination against Christians.

  7. Anon - are you even Catholic? Your comments are certainly indicative of someone who is either not Catholic or poorly catechized.

Maybe we can start with that.

I invite you to come look at my blog, www.catholicsistas.com where one of my top contributors {of over 40 women from ALL walks of the Faith} is a former atheist and lived the lifestyle you are defending.

Rather than point fingers, you would be well-served to really look at people who are striving to live out their authentic faith, putting aside temporal pleasures to glorify God first.

No, I think the discrimination you are speaking of is staring back at you in the mirror, friend. I welcome you to come join us and I challenge you to not walk away with a more clear understanding of the Catholic Faith, provided you are Catholic to begin with.

  8. No, Christian and not Catholic (do you guys consider yourselves Christian?) For some reason the blog post came up on a recommended list on my aol page and I thought to respond. However, seems I jumped into a site for only catholics, so I think I will respectfully back out. I was merely trying to point out that these business decisions are supported by many Christians and people who try to follow the works of Jesus, trying to love our brothers and sisters and object to any sort of discrimination. To me, this is no different than racism because a person does not choose his sexuality any more than a person chooses his skin color. Good day and bless you. Dr. Pete

  9. Yes, Anon, Catholics are Christian And no, this isn't a site just for Catholics although I look at the world from a Catholic worldview. Catholics and Protestant have a lot in common, after all -- Protestant denominations broke away from the Catholic Church so we share a lot of the same beliefs. Certainly many Protestant churches accept the Apostles Creed.

Most of the divisions I've found in conversations are over papal authority, our honoring Mary as the Mother of God, the Sacrament of Confession, and some of the moral teachings like contraception. Ironically, all the Protestant churches opposed contraception until 1930 when the Anglicans changed their teaching at the Lambeth
conference to allow it in limited circumstances for married
couples. The've been disintegrating ever since.

At any rate, I welcome cordial discussion and debate on
any topics I raise. I draw the line at personal attacks.

  10. Mary Ann, I just got an advertisement in California from Michael's Craftstore. It was of Ellen De Generes, an out in the open lesbian, supposedly giving a good time to some little girls by her program paying for their shopping spree. My first thought was, if the parents of such little girls did not have to fight the homosexual and lesbian agenda for so-called rights, such as same-sex "marriages", to which they have no right and are NOT entitled, the parents could pay for their own children's needs. The other thought was how a child molestor passes out candy to get the child into his grips. In this case she is getting the child to okay deviant behavior by paying for goodies because she is out in the open about her private behavior. I, therefore, clicked the unsubscibe button on the Michael's advertisement and told them exactly why I no longer wanted their e-mails -- that they did not represent decent traditional family values. I am shopping elsewhere for my craft needs from now on. There are plenty of stores that would like my business, including many Catholic ones near me and online, who stick to decent family values, or at least do not advertise misbehavior.

  11. Concerning my last e-mail, I feel that what Ellen is doing is the same thing a man or woman who is cheating on his/her spouse, and helping a child, all the while telling the child about their affairs and asking for their approval. If one helps a child, the child does not need to know about one's private sexual affairs. I think the parents of the children in the advertisement probably think that kind of indecency is okay. No wonder so many children are so mixed up and killing themselves. If the parents have no moral foundation, how are the children to know right from wrong? Including whether suicide is good or evil. When my daughters were teens, I did not let them go to indecent concerts. Now they are taking away the rights of good parents in public schools in many areas and filling their heads with this garbage. Even some major, supposedly conservative t.v. channels advocate this trash.
