Hey Maryland, Choose a Principled Conservative for Governor
Ron George is a fiscal conservative running for Governor. Here's a creative ad he's running that goes after the "rain tax." Yes, Virginia, Maryland really does have a rain tax although not every jurisdiction charges it. Those that do levy it on everybody with an "impervious" structure, i.e., roof, driveway, etc. that prevents rain from directly reaching the ground. Talk about creative income confiscation. Read about the Maryland rain tax and thank God if you don't live in the land of the lavishly spending liberal loonies.

Great Article About Ken Cuccinelli
Check it out at American Thinker.
And then, if you live in Virginia, sign up to be a delegate at his website. It will be great fun in Richmond next May joining thousands of other enthusiastic Republicans. I call myself an "independent Republican" these days because I refuse to fall in line behind RINOs and establishment hacks who have no principles except "vote for Republicans." When I think of some of the Democrat wannabees in the Republican party like Dede Scuzzyfuzzy (never can remember her name), Arlen Specter (no loss when he left), Olympia Snowe, John McCain, Scott Brown (I didn't cry when he lost.), etc. it makes me sick. I wonder what percentage of the party is "Democrat lite". At some point if that's all the Republican Party is, it really isn't worth saving. Will they go the way of the Whigs?
Anyway, join the principled conservatives' party and be a delegate for Ken! And when you hear people say Republicans have to be more like Democrats to win, remember that Mitt Romney was one of the biggest RINOs of all. The reason we don't win at the national level is that the party always puts up Democrats lite. In local elections principled conservatives often win. So...to paraphrase G.K. Chesteran, here's my take on it, "Conservatism hasn't been tried and found wanting, it's been found difficult and left untried." It's much easier to buy votes with the promise of more and more goodies (unsustainable in the long run) than to engage people in intelligent debate and help them realize that there's no such thing as a free lunch. Sooner or later you gotta pay and the longer you wait the bigger the compulsory service charge!
