Chicago Pro-Life Flash Mob Overwhelms Pro-Aborts in Chicago

Want a great big shot of pro-life adrenaline? On the 26th a pro-abortion crowd in Chicago demonstrated in support of Planned Parenthood. What they didn't know is that a group of young, enthusiastic pro-lifers organized a "flash mob" to counter their protest. They came with bright yellow balloons printed with "LIFE" and brought a sign reading "Orange you glad to see us?" to counter the orange shirts of the opponents. After their joyful demonstration they chanted the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. God bless these young people from the Survivors Generation! God is winning through the peers of the aborted babies who I know were there in spiritual solidarity with their brothers and sisters. See more videos at Fr. Z's blog.

These young people could give life to a cadaver! Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever.

  1. God bless these young people who are picking up the mantles of those of us who have been in the pro-life movement for over thirty years. Praise God!

  2. Where's the pro-life flash mob when there's an execution? Not so pro-life when it comes to killing criminals.

  3. Where are the anti-capital punishment folks when it comes to executing babies? Who, by the way, haven't had a lawyer, a trial, numerous opportunities for appeal, etc.

I'm personally opposed to executing the guilty and will gladly spend time fighting that after the innocent are protected.

  4. Executions.

    Yes, all 19,750 (approximately)
    of them since 1776.

Good grief, capital punishment *pales* in comparison to abortion. I agree with Mary Ann's statement, but this is a life-issue that does not carry the same woral weight as abortion.

As Cdl Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) said in "Worthiness to Receive Holy Communion"

    3. Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia. For example, if a Catholic were to be at odds with the Holy Father on the application of capital punishment or on the decision to wage war, he would not for that reason be considered unworthy to present himself to receive Holy Communion. While the Church exhorts civil authorities to seek peace, not war, and to exercise discretion and mercy in imposing punishment on criminals, it may still be permissible to take up arms to repel an aggressor or to have recourse to capital punishment. There may be a legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not however with regard to abortion and euthanasia.

  5. Could it be that the "Anonymous" of March 1 at 7:46 AM did a little "executing" of his/her own? Did he/she encourage or take part in an abortion? It sounds to me as if that might be so. It sounds to me as if he/she has a guilty conscience. I wonder if he/she will still be around when the young who were taught to abort the innocent decide it is just as moral to euthanize him/her when he/she is no longer "useful" to society. Remember what goes around comes around.
