The "Catholic" and faith-based front groups are as busy as Judas running around behind the scenes to do whatever they can to elect pro-abortion/pro-contraception/pro-homosexual Democrats and make sure the abortion/contraception/gay marriage connection gets a boost in November. They don't want anyone to know where their thirty pieces pieces of silver comes from however. Thanks to Anne Hendershott their lies have been exposed to the world and  "it is getting much harder for progressive organizations...to hide their tracks now that everyone knows who they really are." They never met a democratic pro-abort they didn't worship. Obama and Sebelius are icons of their liberal religion. But oh how they wax eloquent in going after Mitt Romney for acts against life. What hypocrites! As one who is undecided on whether to vote for either Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee, I certainly can recognize unabashed hypocrisy when I see it. The only thing Catholics United can be depended upon is to advance the liberal agenda no matter how many twists and turns it requires. Re-electing their God Obama is the top priority and if they have to turn themselves inside out to do it, they will pursue that end. And, by the way, when is a Catholic bishop going to show the same zeal for forbidding faux Catholic dissent groups like Catholics United and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good from using the name Catholic as the Archdiocese of Detroit did in going after orthodox Real Catholic TV? Anyone? Anyone?

Kmiec's Payoff: Ambassador to Malta

Well, the payoff is official. Doug Kmiec, the supposedly pro-life Catholic who backed the most pro-abortion politician ever to run for public office is getting his reward. He helped Obama win the Catholic vote masquerading as someone who would make abortion rare. In reality Obama has increased the murder of the innocent exponentially since taking office and is working hard to reduce protection for other vulnerable Americans like the elderly and the handicapped while he undermines the conscience rights of medical personnel and others who oppose the culture of death.

The organizations Kmiec helped advance, Catholics United and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, are front groups for the democratic party funded by anti-Catholic billionaire George Soros who also funds Catholics for a Free Choice. Their purpose is to promote liberalism and democratic political candidates. Many of the individuals on the boards and speakers bureaus of these organizations work actively with groups that promote abortion, same-sex marriage, and other liberal agenda items

Here are just a few of Kmiec's betrayals of Catholic truth:

He misrepresented the bishops' document on politics, Faithful Citizenship, to convince Catholics one can be justified in voting for pro-abortion candidates. Archbishop Chaput of Denver challenged him to deliver a pro-life Obama. (Has anyone noticed Obama moving to a more pro-life position?)

He participated in the charade that Kansas under radical pro-abort Kathleen Sibelius reduced abortions and she was responsible. Sibelius' policies had nothing to do with it according to researcher Michael New at the University of Alabama.

Kmiec has proposed an end to states recognizing legal marriage as a "solution" to the gay marriage debate. Legal scholar Robert George has called that a "terrible idea" that would undermine the family.

In July 2008 Fr. Richard John Neuhaus called Kmiec "deeply confused" and guilty of "tortured reasoning and misrepresentation of the positions of others." Tom Roeser also wrote a powerful piece on Kmiec's betrayal in March of 2008 during the campaign. He lamented that Kmiec, a friend, appeared to be selling out for ambition. In view of the results, Kmiec has apparently succeeded. Support for Obama has bought him a sweet assignment to one of the most Catholic countries in the world. Was this what Kmiec had in mind when he sold out the unborn or does Kmiec believe his own rhetoric? Who can say? Who can read another man's soul?

St. Thomas Aquinas says that no one ever chooses evil. He rationalizes what he wishes to choose as good and then chooses the good that he sees. Some of the greatest evils in history have been committed under a veil of supposed goodness. Doug Kmiec has won an ambassorship, but in the process has he, as Tom Roeser asks, betrayed his God?

Shadow Magisterium of Dissent Threatens Faith

Have you heard of "Catholics United," the George Soros-funded organization working to provide a radical makeover of pro-abortion politicians, especially Catholics, so they can masquerade as faithful believers? Their members posture themselves as a sort of shadow magisterium with an ideology that threaten the very foundations of the Church. These modern-day Judases call themselves devout Catholics. Some are, or have been, policy makers and executives working for the bishops. Others teach at Catholic Universities malforming the consciences of the next generation to guarantee their errors outlive them. The faith they profess is a smorgasbord of dissent and outright heresy. These aren't pork and beans cafeteria Catholics, however; they're the champagne and caviar set who break bread with the elite. Will the bishops, many of whom act like politicians themselves, take action before the faith of millions is further poisoned? Pray for our shepherds. To be a bishop today requires a man to be armed, not only with his crozier (the curved staff), but with David's slingshot. And he must be unafraid to use it against the wolves. Among his five smooth stones is Canon Law 915 and the act of interdiction. Let us beg our bishops to use these weapons to defend the faith from the Judases within the Church. Particularly, urge the two D.C. area bishops to ban pro-abortion Catholic politicians and enablers who publicly defend them from receiving Communion in their dioceses. They should start with Vice President, Joe Biden, and House of Representatives Speaker, Nancy Pelosi. That these two renegade Catholics continue to sacrilegiously receive Communion is a major scandal that must be stopped. How long do you think the bishops would be silent if they supported murdering Catholic clerics? Are the least of God's little ones not just as valuable?

Obama's Claim to Seek Common Ground on Abortion Hypocritical

Barack Obama claims to want to find "common ground" on abortion with pro-lifers, but his appointments so far reflect a rabid commitment to the murder of children. All his major appointments are not just pro-abortion, but abortion extremists. With Hillary Clinton at the State Department overseeing U.S. foreign aid including the United Nations Population Fund which supports China's gruesome one-child policy, Americans can expect a return to the Carter and Clinton years of requiring abortion for the third world in exchange for foreign aid. While doctors in poor countries lamented the lack of antibiotics, anti-diarrhea medicine, and other common drugs, they described shelves filled with chemical contraceptives, condoms, and abortifacients. Look for the United States once again to reflect the ugly elitism that pressures the poor to kill their children.

One more example of Obama's abortion extremism is apparent in the naming of Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards to his kitchen cabinet. Planned Parenthood continues to be in the spotlight over aiding and abetting statutory rape, Obama has promised his total commitment to the organization. There is no common ground between Planned Parenthood, the largest child-killing organization in the world, and the pro-life community. The talk about finding common ground is a sham. Meanwhile fake Catholic groups like Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and Catholics United, both funded by pro-abortion billionaire George Soros, continue to throw dust in the eyes of Catholics to try to make abortion a non-issue in politics. Their agenda is more about promoting the liberal left than the common good. Why else would they take hundreds of thousands of dollars from an anti-Catholic pro-abort like Soros?
