What's Not on the Ballot in Virginia is the Most Important Issue in the Race!

Many Virginians are probably unaware of an abortion amendment that is making its way through the Virginia legislature. It allows all abortions up to birth. Do you remember when Virginia's former governor, Ralph Northam, went even beyond killing babies in the womb up to delivery? He publicly stated that after birth parents and the doctor could decide whether to kill a baby (presumably by neglect) after birth. There is no limit to the Democrats' willingness to murder people at any stage of life, from the little one in the womb to the sick and elderly near the end of life. Would married priests include same-sex married men since same-sex "marriage" is now legal? In other words, how would they be able to say that the married priesthood is only for men married to women thereby discriminating against men married to men? Or, if women become priests, women married to women?

As for women priests, that would indicate approval for same-sex marriage - lesbianism in this case - because theologically the Bride of Christ is the Church therefore priests, as alter Christus, are married to the Church. If women are priests they would be married to the Church which would indicate lesbianism.

Additionally, married men and women as priests would indicate approval of polygamy since a priest as a married man would be married to his wife and to the Church. And a woman priest married to a man and to the Church, or a woman priest married to another woman and the Church, would indicate approval of poly fidelity.

Furthermore, transgender people would be in an uproar to get equal rights to the Priesthood of Christ. A transgender woman would really be a male priest; a transgender man, who is really a woman, married to a lesbian could be a priest. The result of that would be to remake the Bride of Christ into a gender neutral entity so that no parties would be offended by the Church being cisgender.

In addition, all of this would mean that the laity would likewise be able to participate in such unions.

Wouldn't it be better to leave the Priesthood as Christ founded it?

THE FAMILY is a reflection of the image and likeness of God as the earthly trinity. 

THE HOLY FAMILY is the epitome of the earthly trinity.

The second Trinity is the FAMILY - man/woman/child. Here the Family is represented by its epitome - The Holy Family - Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Therefore, same-sex "marriage" is NOT the image and likeness of God. It is the image and likeness of the devil therefore a mortal sin.

What doctor gives a patient a medicine he knows will make his condition much worse and might even kill him? To receive Communion in the state of mortal sin is a sacrilege which St. Paul warned against. No one may consume the Body and Blood of Christ while he thumbs his nose at Christ's laws without endangering his soul. Under canon 915 a person who commits manifest grave sins (like politicians who publicly endorse abortion) may not be given Holy Communion. A priest who does so, commits a serious sacrilege himself. Joe Biden clearly falls in that category. Not only is he radically pro-abortion but he officiated at the "marriage" of a same sex couple. He can call himself a Catholic, even a devout Catholic, but that just illustrates that he's a liar extraordinaire. He's publicly advocated this abomination since 2012!

Fr. Tom pegs it once again. Tim Kaine is essentially saying that all Catholics who believe in marriage (There's only one kind.) are making America a "hostile place." Does that mean faithful Catholics (unlike the kind of Catholic Tim Kaine is) are domestic terrorists? Are we guilty of hate speech for professing Catholic doctrine? In the Democrats lingo we must be. They've portrayed pro-lifers as terrorists for years for trying to protect the most innocent little members of the our human family; so daring to defend marriage must make us REALLY evil. Of course, Kaine used to be among the evil, but he's seen the light. After all, you can't be Democrat and profess the moral values of Jesus Christ. Moloch, Baal, Kali, and Gaia, on the other hand, are honorary lifetime members of the party of death. 

The Left Can Always Depend on a Federal Judge!

The left isn't so good at convincing people to vote for lunatic laws, but, hey, who needs to? They can always find a federal judge happy to support their "let's pretend" lifestyle. Such is the case in my own state, Virginia, where a federal judge just struck down our ban on same-sex "marriage." And isn't it cute that it happened so close to Valentine's Day. The heart wants what the heart wants whether it's a Valentine's Day abortion touted by Planned Parenthood mogul, Cecile Richards or two guys having anal sex and calling it marriage.

Where will the lunacy end? Hard to say, but I wonder if one day an evil liberal judge will say, "I never thought it would come to this." And someone will reply, "It came to this, the first time you overturned a just law to suit a politically correct lie." I'm mourning for Virginia today, but even more for Judge Arenda Wright Allen who will have to answer for her tyrannical ruling. As for the people of Virginia (and the rest of the country for that matter), our votes don't count unless they conform to the perverted desires of the age. There are plenty of "judges" out there who take their marching orders from the liberal establishment. They gave us the murder of the innocent with Roe v. Wade and they are giving us mandated perversion. At some point I expect the Supreme Court will mandate that the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution to protect the right of two men or two women to play house and call it marriage.

The only question is, how long will God tolerate us. You can live as though there is no reckoning, but Judgment Day will still come and those who worked for the father of lies will end up serving him eternally (or being served up on a sizzling platter). Pray that these poor misguided souls will repent before it's too late. In the end, the only thing that matters is that moment when we hear God's voice. Will he say, "Welcome, good and faithful servant," or "I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers?" St. Valentine, martyr for marriage, pray for us.

We see a lot of claims that Catholics support same-sex marriage. What about Catholics who take the faith seriously, i.e., attend Mass regularly? A recent poll showed that those who attend Mass weekly and are registered to vote oppose same-sex marriage by 55% vs. 36% who support it. Badly or non-practicing Catholics, on the other hand, support same-sex marriage 63% to 29%, which just goes to show that being in the habitual state of mortal sin (missing Mass on Sunday without a serious reason is a MORTAL, i.e.  sin) makes you stupid. Anyone who can't tell the difference between the uses of the reproductive system vs. the excretory system and uses the one as if it's the other is not only stupid, but exposing himself to disease.

So let's hear it for keeping a clear head by attending Mass every Sunday (more often if possible) and for conforming our minds and hearts to God instead of to the prince of this world whose name is Lucifer! Lucifer loves same-sex marriage because it not only contributes to physical death, but spiritual death as well. As St. Paul says, "One sees in them (i.e., those who "gave up natural intercourse with women and burned with lust for one another") men without conscience, without loyalty, without affection, without pity....Your hard and impenitent heart is storing up retribution for that day of wrath when the just judgment of God will be revealed."

Lent is a good time to repent. Please pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy often this Lent for yourself and for those immersed in habitual mortal sin. Think of the joy in heaven if your prayers and sacrifices are the source of bringing a poor sinner to repentance and salvation. Lord Jesus, have mercy on poor sinners!

More Storm Clouds of Persecution Gather

My parents talked about the want ads they saw growing up saying, "Irish need not apply." And of course the history of Jim Crow laws and segregation is a well-known part of our history. But if you think persecution and civil rights violations have disappeared, reflect on the increasing discrimination against people of faith who refuse to bow to the immoral spirit of the age. Employment doors, more and more are slamming in the face of Catholics and other Christians who refuse to cooperate with intrinsic evil. The latest "Catholics need not apply" assault is in the state of of Maine. In November the state approved same-sex "marriage" and is mandating that notary republics who perform marriages may not refuse to perform same-sex ceremonies for any reason. According to LifeSiteNews:

any notary public who performs marriages may not refuse to perform a same-sex “marriage” for any reason, upon pain of being charged with a human rights violation, according to Maine’s secretary of state.

Where Are Equal Rights for Christians? "Gays" are more equal than others!

Chicago police did nothing to protect the rights of Catholics when "gay" hate-mongers trespassed at Holy Name Cathedral Feb. 14th to chant and threaten church-goers who were called "bigots." Who are the real bigots? Those who harrass and intimidate others to accept the lie that "gays" deserve special rights. A depraved sexual lifestyle, whether it's same-sex sodomy, promiscuity, adultery, fornication, self-abuse, bestiality, polygamy, polyamory, pornography, etc. is not a civil right. And most of those engaging in sexual immorality don't demand it. To treat the "gay" issue as a "civil right" comparable to discrimination against blacks is an insult to the memory of Martin Luther King and all those who struggled and even died for equal rights. The founders never intended to provide constitutional protection to lust. Same sex attraction has no more right to special privileges than sado-masochism and other perversions. Whose to say the man who likes his women whipped and tied to the bed wasn't "born that way as well?"

As for the police being instructed to allow this to go on, it was a shameful betrayal and discrimination against Catholics. Imagine for a moment that these bigots were KKK members at a black church or skinheads on the property of  a synagogue, or pro-lifers outside Planned Parenthood. Do you doubt that arrests wouldn't quickly follow? Is there any possibility that the law would have been suspended? Unthinkable!

But Chicago has always been the city of corruption and now it's Rahm Emmanuel's town. Catholics can expect the dead fish treatment. After all, we're just "mackeral snappers" who deserve whatever we get. Prepare for more of this. Verbal harrassment now; clubs and steel bars in the future. As Fr. John Hardon often said, "Raise your children to be martyrs." But follow the example of the calm Catholics outside the cathedral and pray for the poor deluded men and women who are slaves to their lust. Satan is never satisfied with sin and sinners being tolerated, he demands that evil be declared good and good be declared evil, hence the attack on the Church.

It's no surprise; in fact it was foretold. "In the last days, mocking, sneering men who are ruled by their passions will arrive on the scene....You are forewarned, beloved brothers. Be on your guard lest you be led astray."  (2 Peter 3: 3, 17) But there's a warning to the "protesters" as well. "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil." (Isaiah 5:20) In the end, no one will avoid the reckoning.

Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the grace of final perseverance for yourself and for those in proximate danger of hell.

Good-bye, Mrs. Robinson

Well, well....Gene Robinson is resigning as Episcopal bishop because all the international publicity has been too hard on his "husband." (See here.) Ah yes, playing house can be very stressful on two grown men who can't tell the difference between the reproductive and excretory systems.

In their make-believe world of same-sex "marriage" Robinson apparently pretended to be "Mrs." Robinson.  So "Here's to you, Mrs. Robinson....Stroll around the grounds (at the nuthouse) until you feel at home." And finally,  "Good-bye, Mrs. Robinson.... goo, goo, gachoo... hey, hey, hey."

Two "Catholic" Governors who Think They're Pope

It's amazing when so-called Catholic politicians presume to dictate the doctrines of the Catholic Church to the rest of us. Nancy Pelosi tried it and was roundly corrected. Ted Kennedy was a perennial false preacher (whose son and nephew are following in his dishonest footsteps). And there are hordes of others who remind me of nothing more than the barbarians who sacked Rome in the early centuries after Christ. Of course, despite their most insidious efforts, barbarians and heretics can never overcome the truth. But the neo-barbarians are still trying.

Enter Jesuit-trained Virginia governor Tim Kaine and Maryland governor Martin O'Malley posturing as Catholics who know their faith and daring to correct the archbishop of Washington, D.C. for defending Church doctrine on the sanctity of marriage. Archbishop Wuerl has said the Church will withdraw from social programs funded by the District that require the Church to cooperate with the evil of homosexuality. Since efforts to exempt the Church from the legislation forcing participation, there is no other moral choice.

Good for Archbishop Wuerl.

As for the two heretical Catholics, God help them. They should pay attention to the bumper speaker that reads, "Heaven: Don't Miss it for the World!"

Life is short, eternity is long. Nothing, absoolutely nothing, is worth risking eternal damnation.

Two Catholic Governors Lash Out at DC Catholic Church for Same-Sex "Marriage" Ultimatum

D.C.'s same sex marriage law is likely to pass which will herald a new level of persecution against Christians who refuse to kowtow to homosexual privileges. An amendment to protect the rights of Christians failed. The Washington Post reported today:

Under the bill, headed for a D.C. Council vote next month, religious organizations would not be required to perform or make space available for same-sex weddings. But they would have to obey city laws prohibiting discrimination against gay men and lesbians.

Fearful that they could be forced, among other things, to extend employee benefits to same-sex married couples, church officials said they would have no choice but to abandon their contracts with the city.

"If the city requires this, we can't do it," Susan Gibbs, spokeswoman for the archdiocese, said Wednesday. "The city is saying in order to provide social services, you need to be secular. For us, that's really a problem." Read more here...

Let's pray the Archdiocese stands firm. Cooperation with evil is impossible. Better to lose all the government money and close up shop than to marry the devil. The Church in the U.S. has already compromised too much which explains the collapse of Catholic colleges who sold out for the feds thirty pieces of silver. Pray the archdiocese stands firm on this.
