 Editor's comment: There are many saints     who walk among us who will likely never be canonized. They simply go quietly about their days doing the duty of their state in life. They touch so many using their talents to do God's work.

I never had the privilege of knowing Dr. Hofreuter, but I know many others who are grace-filled, kind, humble souls who bless those whose lives they touch. You can read more about Dr. Hofreuter here.

Please, in your kindness and gratitude for the life of this man, pray for the repose of his soul. This is an especially appropriate post for the start of Advent when we remember two very special babies growing in the wombs of their mothers, our Lord, Jesus Christ, and his messenger, St. John the Baptist.

Save the Storks! A Brilliant Pro-Life Vision

Think about it: the majority of women who choose abortion do it because they believe they have NO CHOICE! Shouldn't those who claim to be for choice want to help women who would choose to have their babies if they didn't feel cornered by their circumstances? The alternatives are out there but many women will never know it without someone going to them. And that's what Save the Storks does. Planned Parenthood: "We specialize in abortions."... "We only do ultrasounds if you're terminating."

Remember all the hype about women getting health care at Planned Parenthood? Listen to these Planned Parenthood employees explaining that their business is abortion. "There's nothing we can do to help you here," a woman asking for prenatal care is told. Not to worry, her doctor will do the ultrasound as part of the care they don't provide. 

Pro-Aborts Lie and Lie and Lie

Wow! When I watched this video I almost had to laugh. An ultrasound is a "sexual assault" or "a rape?" What's rape and sexual assault is taking a steel instrument, sticking it up a woman's vagina, turning on a strong vaccuum, and moving the instrument around to suck out her baby. That's assault! With two victims: one dead, one wounded, sometimes both dead. Fortunately the Virginia State Legislature was too smart to listen to their lies! Please follow the instruction at the end of the video and say thank you.

God Allows Evil that He Might Bring Good From It!

And here's an example, a website called Ask to See the Ultrasound. It was created by a woman who had an abortion. Read the site owner's story here.

Does God will evil and sin? No! Does that mean that evil and sin prove that God is helpless. No! We cannot frustrate God's will through sin. He wills the greater good that grows out of repenting of evil. Mary Magdalene loved much because she was forgiven much. Look at the post aborted women of Silent No More. Look at the many zealous Christian women on the sidewalks and in crisis pregnancy centers sharing their sorrow and regret in order to help other women avoid the heartbreak they experienced by their "freedom to choose." They are modern day Marys washing Jesus' feet with their tears.  

Tell women considering abortion to ask to see the ultrasound. It reveals the lie that it isn't a baby and it's just a blob of tissue. The morning after pill kills a baby in the early embryo stage (embryo means swelling). But all clinic abortions (performed by suction curetage in most cases) always kill a recognizable baby. They cannot do abortions before 6-8 weeks because they might miss the baby. Ironic eh? They have to let the baby grow larger so he/she can be a bigger target. And if they are doing an ultrasound, they know the sex of that little blob of tissue. They just don't want the mother to know because she might change her mind.

Good News in Virginia

Several pro-life bills were voted out of committees to the full committees yesterday, something that has been all too rare in Virginia in recent years. One, HB 1042, requires abortion mills to let women view ultrasounds of their babies. It's funny to see Planned Parenthood and NARAL's local affiliate wax eloquent about the exorbitant cost of this technology which many women have done for the fun of it! Delegate Kathy Byron stays on message asking what's wrong with giving women an opportunity to make an informed choice. As for cost, crisis pregnancy centers often offer ultrasounds for free. The word for the day for PP and NARAL is desperation. Pray that all pro-life bills introduced this year pass, especially Bob Marshall's personhood bill, HB 112, which has been referred to the Committee for Courts of Justice.
