I was reading LifeSiteNews this morning and saw the latest attack on a pro-lifer outside an abortion business. The victim, 83-year-old Olga Fairfax, is a friend of mine. When I lived in Northern Virginia Olga and I participated in many pro-life events together. She once asked me to take a pregnant young woman to an ultrasound appointment with an abortionist. "What?" you're asking. "Why would you do that?"

The two elderly men who were brutally attacked in this diabolical way continue to go to the Planned Parenthood and offer help to moms in crisis. You can read about the incident at LifeSiteNews. One of the deathscorts at the facility held the man's drink while he assaulted the men and, as the video shows, did nothing to help stop it. Hey, if it's okay to kill babies, it's okay to attack their peaceful defenders. Help the Baltimore police by spreading this video.

This has become common on college campuses. Violent protestors shut down messages they don't want to hear. Instead of listening and debating like civilized individuals, they will scream and shout down others and even assault them. Any parent with a student at VCU or any other university that allows this should demand answers. Why are they paying tuition to a brainwashing institution that allows only one side to speak. And what kind of "security" lets the lawless who are breaking the rules set the agenda while "detaining" those with a legal right to be there. If we had a kid at VCU that would be the last semester we'd pay for. The violent attack on this pro-life group happened on March 29th. One More Reason to Thank God for Donald Trump

The never-Trumpers include a fellow I used to rescue with at abortion mills back in the 1970s. He continues to pound the president and actually had the chutzpa to say Hillary Clinton was the "pro-life candidate." To this day he opposes just about everything that has a Trump connection.

Most of the other rescuers I know and went to jail with are as baffled as I am and just shake their heads. I can't help wondering if the babies in the womb are real to him or whether abortion was simply a political argument. He once tried to make the case that putting crazy glue in the locks of abortion facilities was "violent." It's a hard argument to win since an abortion mill has no legitimate reason to exist and to prevent the staff and women from entering has real potential to save lives. It's a way of "blocking the door" which is what we did with our bodies, using glue instead of people.

Mark Shea is a genuinely sad case. Deciding to become a virulent Bergoglio man, he has pretty clearly abandoned what he would have called, back when he still had some wit, the-thing-that-used-to-be-Catholicism. So, however painfully depressing, it's not surprising he also seems fairly well to have lost his mind.

His constant and truly frenzied rants are now, in substance, little different from folk like Kathy Griffin or Kurt Eichenwald, however occasionally dressed with an unconvincing RC veneer. He claims still to be against abortion, but writes post after post denouncing any who seriously fight it; didn't just oppose Trump, but openly promoted the election of Hillary Clinton; insists we are obliged to accept Roe is forever, and work instead for the destruction of the Republican (but not Democratic) Party; and that we can only seriously be 'more pro-life' (his regular refrain) if we first embrace and effectively support the manic left positions of the Dem Party - complete open borders, gun confiscation with relevant pretenses, criticism of Soros is anti-semitic, Russia elected Trump, God wants him impeached, now!, the whole crazy shtick.

A Letter from Jail: Mary Wagner, Canadian Rescuer Whose Goal is to "Bring Love Where There is No Love."

Have you heard of Mary Wagner? You should. Mary is a heroine of unborn babies many of whom are alive today because of her witness. Mary began the Red Rose Rescues. She goes into abortion mills with red roses, fetal baby models, and notes to the moms that include places they can receive help to continue their pregnancies. Her example, which includes several years spent in prison, is inspiring rescues here in the United States.
