What a Laugh! Democrats Tell GOP to Get Back to Work While They Go on Ritzy "Retreat"

On Monday and Tuesday Democrat big shots flew to California for a ritzy retreat. Who are they kidding when they blame Republicans for the shutdown. These elitists don't care a fig for Americans experiencing the consequences of the shutdown. They're still getting paid and still spending taxpayer money on expensive boondoggles. MSN, no friend of conservatives, wrote this about the event:

Monday marked the 13th day of the shutdown
with still no end in sight.

"Calling Congressional Dems 'out of touch' gives them too much credit," Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) posted about the retreat. "This is who they are and their actions have intent behind them. Believe them."

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy contrasted the luxury fundraising retreat, which includes a wine tour and dinner, at Hotel Yountville with the air traffic controllers working without pay during the shutdown.

"Where are our air traffic controllers? WORKING WITHOUT PAY to keep our airspace safe," Duffy posted. "End the shutdown and get the American people their paychecks!"

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) whacked Senate Democrats for jetting off to the West Coast as a nor'easter hits the Northeast and after voting eight times "to keep @FEMA & the federal government SHUT DOWN." The forecast in Napa Valley is calling for rain on both days of the retreat.

If voters needed any proof that Democrats hate ordinary middle class Americans, this retreat proved it in spades. They were telling Republican senators to get back to work on the Sunday talk shows, then flew off to California to wine, dine, and enjoy themselves. Let the hoi polloi without paychecks eat cake. It's time to retire these frauds, many of whom became millionaires from a lifetime of "public service" without having a real job in their lives. MSN says Chuck has a net worth of $60 million. Where did that come from? He's spent the last 25 years in Congress. How does one get so rich on a government salary? Here's what MSN says:

...that money comes from savvy real estate investments that he made early in his career, some of which he was afforded because of his political connections... Schumer has also benefited from the wealth of New York, which is a financial hub for the world. He has leveraged his political connections smartly to accumulate an impressive net worth.

Hmmm....did those "political connections" involve payback for votes? Time for term limits!
