Of Rebates and Medicaid Fraud! The Democrats' Shell Game Guarantees Free Health Care for Illegals

As I was sitting at the computer, my husband brought in a $400 check for me to endorse, our rebate from the state of Virginia because they had a surplus. Wow! I don't think that's ever happened before. Returning money to the taxpayers? What a thought! Can you imagine that happening with a Democrat administration? All their freebies go to illegals compliments of the raped taxpayers.

Think about it. The Democrats in the Senate closed down the government because Republicans wouldn't approve their bill with $1.5 TRILLION in new spending. That spending includes health care for illegals. (Keep in mind that no one is turned away at the ER by law. Nothing is being done to change that.) 

Before I write about the health care, consider a lot of other insane items in the Democrats wish list. Senator John Kennedy pointed out some of the weird items Democrats support:

Over $4 million for LGBTQ projects in the Balkans and Uganda

$3.6 million for cooking and dance workshops for male sex workers in Haiti

$500,000 to purchase electric buses in Rwanda

$6 million to subsidize Palestinian media outlets

More than $833,000 for transgender training initiatives in Nepal

$300,000 to sponsor a pride parade in Lesotho

Nearly $900,000 for mentorship and social media programs in Serbia

$3 million for circumcision and sterilization programs in Zambia

Liberal fact-checking sites like Snopes claim the Democrats are not funding health care for illegals because it's against the law. They call the Republicans liars. But the truth is that illegals are, in fact, getting free health care, so Democrats are the ones telling baldfaced lies which are assisted by the drive-by media and the lying fact checkers.

Let's expose the lies and look at the real facts. While it's true that illegals are ineligible for Federal Medicaid programs, there are major loopholes allowing them to be covered. These were closed by the Big Beautiful Bill. Among the Democrat Senate's demands includes rolling back the provisions that protect taxpayers from being forced to spend billions on illegals for healthcare. Keep in mind that the majority of Medicaid funding across the board comes from the federal government through matching grants to the states. If states allow enrollment of illegals in Medicaid, but hide it, which many do, then yes, Virginia, illegals' health care is financed by the feds and that is exactly what the Democrats want. The Daily Wire explains it like this

Most importantly, the [Senate] bill would allow all “qualified aliens” to apply for Medicaid — as opposed to limiting eligibility to lawful permanent residents — and once again expand the federal match rate for state Medicaid programs.

Medicaid is funded jointly by states and the federal government. For every dollar a state pays, the federal government matches it with a payment of its own. The matching rate differs by state, and under the Biden administration, it was dramatically expanded.

It's worse than that, though. Fraud is rampant. One has only to look at California to see the outrageous lies of Chuck Schumer and his allies. The Paragon Health Institute has reported on the "shell game" where Democrats launder federal money and divert it to illegals. At this point, illegal aliens get more benefits than Americans. Here's just a bit from Paragon's March 2025 report titled California’s Insurance-Tax Shuffle: How Federal Money Ends Up Paying for Medicaid for Illegal Immigrants:

Medicaid spending is supposed to be jointly financed by the federal government and states. However, states are increasingly designing Medicaid money laundering schemes that result in massive federal expenditures without any state financial obligation. The state of California, colluding with insurance companies who cover Medicaid beneficiaries, has created one of the most outrageous ones yet – a money laundering scheme that results in California obtaining more than $19 billion in federal money without any state contribution over the period from April 2023 through December 2026.1 That money is used to implement major expansions in the Medicaid program to fund illegal immigrants and long-term care (LTC) for the wealthy. This scheme enriches insurers, attracts illegal immigrants to the United States, and adds mountains to the federal debt, all at the expense of working Americans.

How many other blue states are operating Medicaid fraud schemes like this at the expense of of taxpayers whom they contemptuously describe as "deplorables" or consider MAGA scum? The Democrats are playing games with the government shutdown. It's time to expose them as the liars and cheats they are. It's too darn easy to spend other people's money. But Democrats are especially good at it. With the country 37 TRILLION in debt, it's way past time to reign in the spending. Neither party is willing to do it, but Democrats are the drunkest sailors. Time to send them to the brig.
