Understanding the Crisis in the Church: Homily of Cardinal G.L. Müller on the Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, January 1st

I'm working on the Les Femmes quarterly newsletter's winter issue. The lead article always involves lots of research preceded by prayers to our editor, the Blessed Mother. What does she want me to write about this quarter?
Well...it was a dilemma until I started reading and hearing lots of comments from clerics including a number of bishops saying those who express concern about some of the actions of the pope are "divisive" and even guilty of "treason." Any questioning (dubia?) is greeted with stony silence and/or accusations of breaking unity with the Holy Father. There was even a bishop's outburst telling journalists who dare to question anything the pope does to get out and join the Lutheran Church if they don't like the pope's style of teaching and governing.

Big Catholic Families: What a Gift to the Church and the World!

How one family is sending 13 kids to college, living debt free — and still plans to retire early

The Fatzingers could be the poster family for Dave Ramsey, the finance radio guru who always encourages his listeners to live debt free. And, in fact, maybe he could learn a tip or two from their approach to living well with less.

I've always thought of myself as thrifty, but my strategies can't hold a candle to this family. What a revolution if more people would follow their example by both welcoming children as a blessing from the Lord and giving them the lesson of hard work, saving, and money management as well as having fun while living the faith.
