The shooting of Alex Pretti looks like an unjustified act by the ICE agents. As a pro-life rescuer, I've been involved in civil disobedience attempting to save babies from abortion and their moms from a lifetime of regret. I was arrested about a dozen times and spent time in jail in Alexandria and Arlington, VA and in Buffalo, NY. On several occasions during the rescues, the police acted in anger. Once when I was sitting on the ground I was picked up by two officers and thrown onto several other rescuers who were hurt. At that same event the police were on horseback and they pressed the crowd who were standing against the building to the point that the crush of bodies caused the window to break. Fortunately, none of the rescues I was involved in resulted in serious police brutality. Unfortunately that wasn't the case in other places.
But be prepared for the persecution! You may lose your job; you probably won't lose your life. Be a man like the seven sons in Maccabees and a woman like their courageous mother. Let us fight for the faith and for the culture, walking in the footsteps of St. Stephen!

And of course don't you dare dress up on Halloween in a gypsy outfit or an Indian headdress (unless, of course, you're a gypsy or an Indian like -- play laugh track -- Elizabeth Warren). And burn that sombrero and that can-can dancer's outfit! All of these are big no-no's in the ever-growing list of politically incorrect sins.
You are just Bible-thumping, gun-toting, "stupid as sh*t" voters.
As for the staff at CNN? They are a bunch of agenda-driven liberals who aren't interested in the truth and will happily fill the airways with fake news if it 1. increases their ratings, 2. promotes their liberal agenda, 3. trashes Trump, or 4. discredits Christians and conservatives. I hope you'll pass on James O'Keefe's videos. Let's expose CNN as the #CNNFakeNewsNetwork they are!
Veritas has released another bombshell video with a major Democrat donor saying blacks who vote Republican are "F***ed up in the head." Then he compares them to Jewish guards who helped kill other Jews to survive a little longer. Wow, talk about respect. So no black can be smart and aspire to be like Dr. Ben Carson, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Representative Mia Love or historic figures like Booker T. Washington. Unless they imitate dyed in the wool democrats like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and other black opportunists who make a career of fomenting racial strife they are "f***ed up in the head."
I'm so happy there are young people out there fighting for the truth and "making a mess." James O'Keefe has more nerve than a cat at a hounds' convention. God bless him!

Politics is a "lying game."
And apparently Church politics is too judging from Cardinal Kasper's behavior. (See previous post.) Democrats and liberal churchmen seem to have lots in common when it comes to lying. But hey....It's justified if you need it to get elected or avoid embarrassment among your Synod brethren. It's just the way things are in the real world. (Remember who the prince of this world is?) St. Augustine talked about the City of God and the City of Man. Just because a man is wearing a red hat and cumberbund doesn't mean he's living in the City of God. (Hat tip to Political Brambles.)
Now, how much fraud do you think will take place in the 2012 election? With the support and encouragement of the Democratic party? How many times do you think union flunkies will vote? How 'bout Nancy Pelosi? How many illegal immigrants will vote? How many times? Two thumbs up to James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas. Support Voter I.D. -- limit voter fraud. (I'd like to say eliminate voter fraud, but I think that's probably impossible.)
This is a hoot. The liberals say that it's discriminatory to the poor and elderly to require an ID to vote. Why aren't they upset about IDs for all these other situations? Could it just be that they don't give a hoot about discrimination; they just want to make it easy to cheat at the polls?
The Chesterton conference was outstanding. Among the speakers was James O'Keefe, the young videographer who uncovered ACORN's moral turpitude when he showed they were willing to help a hooker and a pimp set up a brothel using underage girls from the third world. Don't look for this kind of story in the New York Times or The Washington Post. They are too busy shilling for liberalism and moral relativism. O'Keefe, on the other hand, is a first rate investigative reporter doing the job the drive-by media won't. He was the hit of the conference giving the young folks there a great role model of zeal and courage and giving the oldies like me great hope for the future.
To those who say that dressing up and telling a story is "lying" think about this. All story-telling is an opportunity to reflect on moral realities. Jesus told stories to illustrate moral truths and make his audience think and react. That's what O'Keefe and his crew do as well. They role play and photograph the reactions of the "audience." They don't entrap them (like government agents did to Randy Weaver). They may even be hoping for a moral reaction from their audience. Unfortunately, when you are dealing with liberalism that's unlikely. Of all the ACORN offices they visited only one refused to "help" the hooker and the pimp. What their role playing did was to expose truth. And that's the purpose of all good fiction. We're in the story together. So make sure when you respond to the story of life it's according to virtue, not vice!
N.B.: Funny how nobody talked about "lying" when the liberal crowd was "exposing" the crisis pregnancy centers for "lying to women" by withholding up front information to which they did not have a right.
O'Keefe also gave us a lot of great laughs, especially his story of getting Lucky Charms banned from the Rutgers cafeteria for discriminating against the Irish! It just showed that the ridiculousness, not to mention stupidity, of the politically correct diversity crowd.
So enjoy your Lucky Charms and think of young Irishman James O'Keefe while you admire the stereotyped little leprechaun on the front. Pray for this young man and all the "new media" young people like Lila Rose who exposed Planned Parenthood and the students assaulted by Congressman Bob Etheridge. May their numbers grow!
Ho-hum...we all know that the mainstream media are shills for liberal politicians. They've demonstrated it again and again. Not that FOX is squeaky clean. As a serious Catholic I'm not a fan of cafeteria Catholics Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity either. I'm interested in the the truth, which the Lord promises will set us free.
As Scripture says, we need to be as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves and continue to fight the good fight. Kudos to the young investigative team, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, who did what the "IMPORTANT professionals" (Yes, Charlie, that means you and ABC!) didn't and wouldn't! It's a David and Goliath story to warm the heart!
