Well, I didn't watch the Superbowl or see the raunchy X-rated half-time show. Life's too short! But I saw some of the disgusting, nearly nude photos (which I won't post) and got this email today from a friend:

I normally never watch the half time show since I find it so morally offensive and suggestive. Since I am in the middle of research on porn, prostitution and human trafficking, I watched to see how bad it would be. I couldn't believe how suggestive it was.

From my research, many johns continually mention that they use porn to rev up (the pre-show) for action (the party). Once they rev up, they act out. An FBI agent who specializes in helping to stop trafficking mentioned on Covenant Eyes, that without pornography, there would be no sex trafficking.

Ho-hum...another Fall, another meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

What have they accomplished so far? Well, they voted to uphold the sanctity of life as the pre-eminent issue of the U.S. bishops.

Goodness... What a radical idea!

Sixty-nine voted against it and four abstained!

Really?...ONE THIRD of the bishops present voted no or abstained! How silly to make defending life the first order of business for Christians when the planet is so endangered by all those little carbon footprints!

The Bishops Need to Hear Us in Our Pleas to Our Lady of America!

Please come to pray the rosary outside the bishops' Fall meeting in Baltimore next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel at 12:40 p.m. If you live in the Baltimore-Washington area please come and spread the word to family and friends. Bring a group. Make it an act of reparation for the many pro-abortion politicians who won on election day. The hour is late. Our weapons are the Eucharist and the rosary. Remember John Bosco's Dream. Tie your little boat to these two pillars as you pray for Holy Mother Church who is so besieged and for our shepherds in the United States.
