The Lunacy of Liberal Logic or Dead Babies Don't Wear Diapers!

Years ago, Pampers was promoting Planned Parenthood. "What a head-scratcher," I thought! How stupid can a business be? Dead babies don't wear diapers.

Michael Voris Sinks to a New Low. No Bottom to their Sewer!

Just when you think Church Militant (CM) can't sink any lower, they prove there's no bottom to their sewer.

Feast of the Epiphany; Brightest and Best of the Sons of the Morning

St. James Catholic Church, Lakewood, OH - January 2016 - shared on viewbug

My grandfather was the organist at St. James Catholic Church in Lakewood, OH for many years. He had a men and boys' choir that was renowned locally. I wish I had asked him about his history. He played in the days when silent movies had live organ music accompanying the film. How many stories he could have shared if I'd only had the wisdom to ask about them. Young people, quiz your grandparents and parents while you still have them. They are the "wise men and women" of your time. Don't let their stories die with them.

Priest Refuses Communion on the Tongue to Kneeling Catholic

To be fair, there were other priests (You can see them in the video.) who gave Communion on the tongue. But this rogue priest knows better than God and felt he had the right to deny the Eucharist to someone because he dared to kneel and try to receive on the tongue. Well, I hope someone identifies the priest and he receives the censure he deserves for denying the canonical rights of the man. Perhaps soon, the priest's action will be the norm, but for now it was a canonical violation that should be exposed. It's especially ironic since Benedict encouraged Communion on the tongue. Lord, have mercy on us for the curse of arrogant priests who inflict their personal desires on Your flock, diminishing reverence for Your sacred. Body and Blood.

It's Ironic that Today's Funeral for Pope Benedict...

...takes place on the feast day of a pope martyr, St. Telesphorus who occupied the chair of Peter from 125-136 and died during the first year of of the reign of Antoninus Pius, although there appears to be some confusion since Antoninus became emperor in 138 and Telesphorus is said to have died in 136, two years earlier.

St. Telesphorus, pray for us.

What Was In Benedict's Internal Forum, Stays In His Internal Forum

What was in Benedict's internal forum, stays in his internal forum.

Various people projecting their own fantasies as to why Benedict did what he did sicken me.

I loved Benedict as a father like we're supposed to do of a pope. Who knows why he did what he did. Did God tell him to do it? I'm sure both he and JPII actually believed in God and had some form of guidance from Christ and His Mother and listened to them.

Was Benedict threatened with his brother being kidnapped, tortured and killed in a gruesome manner? Was that a viable threat which was the final straw forcing him to make his decision?

So...Have You Made a New Year's Resolution? I Have a Suggestion if You Haven't.

Bad ideas pollute the mind. Read with caution and always under the protection of the Holy Spirit and your guardian angel. These four men made the world worse with their evil philosophies. See if you can identify them. I've listed them at the end of the post.

It's that time of year again when everyone is making resolutions they will likely abandon within a few weeks. Let's think about it.

When I made my annual Ignatian retreat in July, I made four resolutions:

  • Don't defend myself,
  • Don't do anything hasty,
  • Embrace silence,
  • Be good to my husband.

Larry was especially appreciative of the last one.

To Those Who Say, "We Don't Need the SSPX Here," Yes We Do!

Want a Traditional Latin Nuptual Mass at your parish church? Sorry! No Mass for you! No diocesan parish is available for young couples who want to be married in the Latin form of the Roman rite. (Photo credit Spiering Photography)

I recently spoke to someone at St. John the Baptist in Front Royal, VA who insisted that the SSPX are not needed here. "We have four Traditional Latin Masses every Sunday; the SSPX should have gone somewhere they are needed. We don't need them here. They should leave!"

The Gift of Coming Home! We Finally Have a Chapel That Looks Like a Church! Happy New Year!

This was our chapel in May of 2021 as we celebrated Mary and prepared to crown her.

Since 2020, my husband and I have been wanderers in Traditional Latin Mass Land. It all started with the COVID lockdowns and the craven behavior of bishops who preferred to deny the Mass to their flocks rather than find creative ways to manage government mandates. So, while our local ordinary cancelled all the Masses in the diocese, the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) answered the call from grieving Catholics and offered the Mass at the fairgrounds in Front Royal, VA. The governor allowed it and the bishop could have done it in every region of the diocese. He chose not to.

Fairy Godmothers Have Nothing On Guardian Angels!

Cinderella's fairy godmother does a lot of spectacular things in the physical world...

...but, as Cinderella's birth mother tells her, it is the non-visible things that are most important, the spiritual things, what we call the virtues.
