Anti-Pope. That's my final decision.

Please tell me this idol isn't the Virgin Mary.
After waffling back and forth, and not really caring too much, to tell the truth - because I knew that if Francis was truly the pope, he was evil anyway - I am finally weighing in on the controversy. Is he, or is he not the true pope? Was he validly elected by misguided Cardinals (because the Holy Spirit does not elect the pope - men elect the pope (albeit men/Cardinals corrupted by the spirit of the world, therefore listening to that spirit and not the Holy Spirit) or was he invalidly elected because of the collaboration of the St Gallen Group - the St Gallen Mafia, as they have become to be known? By the way, St Gallen, Switzerland, was the #1 vacation destination of Mr Theodore McCarrick. He went there almost every year. Just thought I'd mention that fact for its obvious implications.

Various bloggers and internet personalities have argued back and forth on this one question for months, if not for the past 6 years since Francis announced on The Balcony that he was...well, just plain old "Francis". The longer he is pope, the more vigorous are the arguments because, as the years have gone by, Francis has caused more than alarming discontent among the Catholic Faithful.

Paradigm Shift, Chapter Seven, "An Example of the Paradigm Shift: Holy Communion for 'Remarried' Divorcees"

There isn’t a woke Catholic alive, I would say, who isn’t conscience of the effect the document published by Pope Francis, titled, Amoris Laetitia has had on the Church as a whole.  Chapter Seven in Paradigm Shift ends with the acknowledgment that we are in fact in the middle of a schism and Francis himself has been alleged to have said by a reputable Italian journalist, “It is not to be excluded that I will enter history as the one who split the Catholic Church.”  This statement was reported in Der Spiegal in December, 2016 and was never denied or questioned by the Vatican.

Weird, Creepy, Laughable or All Three? Wacky Wobot!

As a celebration of the "Reformation" (also known as the Protestant Revolt), a German Church is offering "robot blessings." What's even weirder than the robot is the position of the person who had the idea who wants people to consider whether one even needs a real human being to give a blessing. (We can see Richard Dawkins borrowing this idea by having rocks and aliens bless people.)

Actually the Catholic Bishops in Germany may borrow this idea since their vocations are plummeting. I think the robot has more personality than Cardinals Kasper and Marx?

Theodore McCarrick says an "influential Italian gentleman" asked him to "talk up Bergoglio."

Did the "mafia" puppet masters
influence the election of Pope Francis?
The first video clip after the break is taken from a 2013 speech at Villanova (starts at about 18:55 in the second video at the bottom of the page which is the complete talk at Villanova).

Keep in mind that the Cardinals in a papal conclave are strictly prohibited from lobbying for a pope. And yet, there's plenty of evidence that lobbying for Cardinal Bergoglio was organized and came from an anti-Benedict wing of cardinals calling themselves the "mafia club" under the name "St. Gallen" or "St. Gall." (They met at St. Gallen's in Switzerland.)

The "mafia" included Cardinal DanneelsCardinal Kasper, Cardinal Martini (deceased), Cardinal Lehmann, Cardinal Silvestrini and Dutch Bishop Van Luyn. In an authorized biography of Cardinal Danneels, he was open about the secret meetings of the "mafia club" (Progressives love to brag!) although he later tried to backtrack. Why try to backtrack? Because lobbying for a pope can make his election illegitimate.

Sunday Meditation: Is this a warning from St. John Paul II to the Dissenters at the Synod?

Dissenters, pay close attention to Pope St. John Paul II's message from Veritatis Splendor. I know you don't care about the splendor of truth when it conflicts with your perverse desires, but, guess what --- it applies to you anyway. Get ready for the big challenge about it on Judgment Day! (My comments are in red.)
Today, however, it seems necessary to reflect on the whole of the Church's moral teaching, with the precise goal of recalling certain fundamental truths of Catholic doctrine which, in the present circumstances, risk being distorted or denied. Cardinal Kasper, you have a call from heaven.

A Laugh a Minute from Cardinal Kasper!

Was it a joke? He told an audience at Catholic University on November 6th that Catholics shouldn't try to claim Pope Francis for their own agenda. Considering that's exactly what he does, one wonders how he had the chutzpah to say it!

Don't claim Pope Francis for your own agenda, Kasper says amid controversy

Cardinal Kasper reminds me of the German bishops who met at Fulda in 1933 to praise National Socialism and give legitimacy to the errors of Hitler and his Nazi party. Dietrich von Hildebrand condemned their action which he knew would scandalize German Catholics and lead them to believe they could affirm and compromise with the Nazis. Kasper appears to be of the same mold.

Is it in the water?

Mourning at Mass this Morning

I don't know why it overcame me this morning at Mass, but as I stood for the Our Father and sign of peace, I started thinking about the excommunication of the SSPX in Italy and all the faithful who attend their services. I have friends who go to an SSPX parish here in Annandale so the excommunication felt personal even though it doesn't affect them.

What also grieved my heart was the realization of the double standard, the almost total lack of discipline for the heretics who peddle the murder of the unborn and the destruction of the family and publicly agitate for women's ordination and normalization of fornication and serial marriage.  The list goes on and on.

None of the nuns on the bus or the priests running gay parishes have been disciplined. Clergy and laity who promote contraception and abortion and gay relationships for the most part go on their merry way undisturbed by the local bishop. I think Bishop Bruskewitz was the only one EVER to excommunicate the radical dissenters of Call to Action which he did along with a long list of Masonic organizations and the SSPX.

Synod Marketing: Perception is Everything

I'm a little taken aback by people I admire acting like the Relatio's problems are no big deal because the document has no authority and changes nothing in Church doctrine. Well, orthodox Catholics know that, but, do most people reading the press reports? What does the average person picking up the Washington Post or the Boston Globe or reading the Huffington Post think is happening in Rome? They certainly are NOT interpreting the results the same way orthodox Catholic are. Even as I write this the D.C. FM station is reporting that the Catholic Church is "undergoing a transformation."

What exactly is going on?

Another Infamous Interview with Cardinal Kaspar?

Cardinal Kasper claims papal support, raps critics in new interview

Cardinal Kasper: Pope wants bishops to decide on Communion proposal

Every time I hear the word "interview" linked with Pope Francis or Cardinal Kasper I get nervous. If Cardinal Kasper is telling the truth about Pope Francis, we have a lot to worry about! Is the faith a case of maintaining doctrine as long as the majority of bishops support it? Is changing doctrine okay as long as "collegiality" is respected and the synod of bishops gives thumbs up?

Remember how the expectations of Catholics were raised by the Pontifical Birth Control Commission back in the 1960s?
