When Will We Get the Report on McCarrick from the Vatican?

It's been two years and we're still waiting for the promised report about Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. So much for Vatican transparency. Bishops have asked a number of times for the report to be released...the response?....crickets! Now why would that be?

After waffling back and forth, and not really caring too much, to tell the truth - because I knew that if Francis was truly the pope, he was evil anyway - I am finally weighing in on the controversy. Is he, or is he not the true pope? Was he validly elected by misguided Cardinals (because the Holy Spirit does not elect the pope - men elect the pope (albeit men/Cardinals corrupted by the spirit of the world, therefore listening to that spirit and not the Holy Spirit) or was he invalidly elected because of the collaboration of the St Gallen Group - the St Gallen Mafia, as they have become to be known? By the way, St Gallen, Switzerland, was the #1 vacation destination of Mr Theodore McCarrick. He went there almost every year. Just thought I'd mention that fact for its obvious implications.

Various bloggers and internet personalities have argued back and forth on this one question for months, if not for the past 6 years since Francis announced on The Balcony that he was...well, just plain old "Francis". The longer he is pope, the more vigorous are the arguments because, as the years have gone by, Francis has caused more than alarming discontent among the Catholic Faithful.

Well, I'm back from retreat and among the hundreds of emails was the one below. I've deleted the name of the priests and I won't identify the diocese, but I think it behooves folks to ask yourselves how your pastor is running the parish and how he's spending YOUR money (which is given to do God's work!). Is your pastor, on the parish level, doing what men like Bransfield and McCarrick did on the diocesan level? Is he living like a king on the sacrifices of the folks he considers patsies in the pew? Do you recognize your pastor in this description below?

 Dear Mary Ann,

It was well known that [my previous pastor] had a full time cook and housekeeper and that he hosted monthly get together lunches at the rectory for his priest friends. Wine and dine on a weekday when they should have been at work. My parish is unique in that its rectory is [not on the church grounds].  No one sees who is coming and going. If the pastor goes home for lunch and doesn't return nobody at the church knows where he is or what he's doing.

Editor's Comment: Archbishop Carlo Vigano sent the message below to the bishops gathering for the sex abuse summit on February 21st. It was the summit's opening day and also the feast of St. Peter Damian, the great warrior against the depraved practices of homosexual clergy in the Middle Ages. 

I'm posting this on the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter. These two feasts back to back emphasize the responsibility of Pope Francis to exercise authority over the crisis in the Church which is, in fact, a homosexual crisis. Ignoring that fact endangers the credibility of the hierarchy and illustrates a lack of transparency that puts to the lie all the fine words coming from the Vatican about their intent to resolve the crisis.

These feasts also coincide with new details coming out about Cardinal McCarrick and his "missing years" when he was apparently being groomed by the Communist party to become a Church insider attacking the faith. If you've read Bella Dodd's School of Darkness, you know full well that a Communist strategy was to plant agents in Catholic seminaries to undermine and corrupt the Church and destroy her authority to be a powerful witness in the world. And how effectively they did it!

Archbishop Vigano has been held up as an icon for his exposure of the homosexual network in the Church, and I'm grateful for everything he has done. But I'm also concerned that people will believe that McCarrick's exposure will bring us to the end of a sad chapter in Church history?

Will it?

Or is the Vigano affair an on-going soap opera and a cynical attempt to convince Catholic laity that the problem is being seriously addressed and solved.
