A School Choice Success Story

Some commenters here oppose school choice because of the involvement of the government. And that certainly is a danger. But for children in public schools, the school choice movement offers an escape from horrible failed schools. How many people would willingly put their children in the shop class of the freak from Canada with the prosthetic breasts? The man impersonating a woman was fire from his last school, but has a new gig where he can continue to impose his transgender insanity on the kids. I won't post his photos here, but you can check out the new school where the kids will be assigned specific doors they must use to enter and exit the school. Inconveniencing the kids doesn't matter; catering to the transgender scandal trumps all! 

Good News from Red States! Let Us All Take Our Civic Duty Seriously: Defend the Common Good!

There's plenty of good news coming from some of our great red states: banning dangerous transgender drugs and mutilation for minors, protecting children from drag queen story hours and twerking shows, expanding school choice to offer a parents an option outside government indoctrination centers, etc. 

A Positive Result of Hurricane Katrina: School Choice and Privatization of Education

This video illustrates several important principles

1. Private enterprise is more effective than government one-size-fits-all at producing success. 

2. School choice works. It improves performance and offers greater opportunities and more success to students.  

3. The Catholic principle of subsidiarity works. The lowest level of responsibility and authority should take precedence over higher levels. In this case, parents suddenly had real impact in decisions about their children's education. They became the authority on selecting the best situation for their families.

The current system is not without critics including those frustrated with the difficulty of navigating the system.  But New Orleans' students are doing much better than before and a failing system is now graduating most students with many going on to college.

Mom Jailed For Sending Kids to Better School

Don't we live in an interesting culture? A woman can choose to kill her baby for no reason or any reason. But a mom who wants a better education for her children can't choose another school district. The only thing that would really improve public schools would be to give parents school choice. Let parents choose and if a school is oversubscribed hold a lottery. Any parent willing to drive their kids outside "their district" should be eligible to enroll their children in any public school they want. Why shouldn't those living in poor school districts have the "right to choose" a better education for their children?

Let's face it. The elitists don't care about the "right to choose" except for abortion. And abortion isn't really about choice; it's about money and genocide. Most abortion mills are located in the inner cities and minorities have a higher percentage of abortions than their representation in the population. Planned Parenthood wants abortion funded by the government both for the money and for the elimination of those they consider "unfit." It was one of Margaret Sanger's slogans. "More from the fit; less from the unfit."

And I have one more question. Has a single abortion mill employee who covered up the statutory rape of a minor who came for an abortion with a predatory boyfriend, coach, teacher, etc. been prosecuted and jailed? I sure haven't heard of any. But this mom who loves her children and wants a better life for them is in jail. Go figure!
