God wrote male or female into our DNA genetic code like the Ten Commandments were written by His finger on Moses’ two tablets of stone – fixed, permanent and forever. Simply put, examined DNA will instantly reveal to any scientist that a particular human person is male or female. 

Yet, even though the sex of a child is fixed at the instant of conception through the paired XY (male) or XX (female) twenty third chromosomes, New York City’s mayor Bill de Blasio is furthering the Communist Party's agenda of gender equality with his official recognition of 31 genders of people, 29 (because man and woman are already known genders since the Creation) of which believe they are not what they are at all but only something made up in their disordered minds.

It’s a great blessing to live in small town America where for the most part people remain normal God-fearing Christians believing in faith that God made 2 genders only – man and woman – to form the FAMILY by creating children out of love.

I have shared my personal experience of having taken my elementary school age daughters into a women’s restroom when shortly after three transgender young adults, over six feet [tall] with deep voices, entered. My children were visibly frightened, concerned about their safety and left asking lots of questions for which I, like many parents, was ill-prepared to answer.

Sunday Meditation: A Lament for Bubble Gum Homilies

One of my frequent laments is what I call bubble-gum homilies (or pabulum from the pulpit). They may appear to give you something to chew on but there's no nourishment and all that chewing is for naught. I thought of that today while I was reading an article in The Wanderer by Deacon James H. Toner on Rocky Homilies. Here's a bit:

Why the tribute to Pope John? Should his “aggiornamento” be rewarded this way?

The Gorilla in the Living Room: Modern Mengeles Advancing Brain Death and Organ Donation

The story about the gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo who aggressively dragged a toddler around his enclosure has inundated social media and the news for days. I can't say I'm surprised that many would have preferred letting the gorilla kill the child rather than allow the sharpshooters to kill the gorilla.

Why? Because there's a much bigger gorilla, King Kong in fact, killing countless helpless victims of all ages, and many of those who should protect the innocent victims are cheering for the gorilla. Two of his victims are toddlers like the little boy at the Cincinnati Zoo: Israel Stinson and Mirranda Lawson.
