Sibelius Confirmed 65-31: Trinity Grad is poisoned fruit of bad Catholic college.

The Senate confirmed Kathleen Sibelius tonight 65 to 31. Every democrat voted for the supporter of partial birth abortionist "Killer" Tiller who never met a late-term baby he wouldn't murder. Of course, it was a mutually beneficial situation for the Kansas Governor. Sibelius raked in big bucks in campaign contributions from the Wichita butcher. She underreported them, but the senators didn't care. How many of them get money from Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NOW, et al as well?

You can check out the yeas and nays here. Both of my Virginia Senators voted for this scarlet lady - no surprise; they are pro-abortion Democrats. (Is there any other kind?) What about your senators? Pray for the souls of these politicians who will one day have to face the music. Killing children may be the politically expedient thing to do today (like killing Catholic priests in 16th and 17th century England and killing Jews in Nazi Germany), but will political expediency count for much on Judgment Day?

Kathleen Sebelius is a pathetic example of a "Catholic" education from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., my own alma mater I'm ashamed to say. Like Notre Dame fawning over our pro-abortion, pro-infanticide president, Trinity gushes over her pro-abortion Catholic graduates. A number are now working for the Obama administration and will no doubt be invited to Trinity to scandalize the current crop of undergrads.

If you want to keep your kids Catholic don't send them to schools that will rob them of their faith. What does it profit a man (or woman) to gain the White House or an important government post, but lose his (her) own soul? Eh, Kathleen?

  1. Like the GOP, the Catholic Church is shrinking because its become a one-issue cult.

Its stated regard for life is mocked by its bloodthirty indifference to capital punishment.

One is almost driven to believe that the Church's regard for infant life is tied to the clergy's predeliction for little boys.

Now that the majority of your membership has been reduced to non voting Latinos, how dare you merge relition with the things of Caesar.

  2. Sir,
    It's "Duns Scotus".
    Secondly, it's "religion," not "relition."

Third, "bloodthirsty indifference to capital punishment"? Hardly indifference. Most Catholics are either strongly opposed to the death penalty or strongly in favor of it, both with good causes, grounded in Natural Law. Don't know Catholics who are "indifferent" on it.

And the right of governments to execute the guilty to protect society is hardly comparable with the murder of innocent children so men can have promiscuous sex with whomever they like or so yuppie couples can take expensive vacations and buy large-screen TVs.

As for your comment about "the clergy" and little boys, I'm sure you don't care about facts, but most of the victims were teenaged boys, molested by homosexual priests. The percentage of actual pedophiles, people who molest pre-pubescent children, in the priesthood is lower than the average for the population.

Lastly, your *own* hypocrisy shows that you condemn the death penalty and this horrible crime. It was precisely the kinds of liberal bishops who oppose the death penalty and promote the idea of "reforming" criminals who said that the child molesters were "reformed" and could go back in to ministry.

Pope St. Pius V said that any priest guilty of homosexual behavior should be burned at the stake.

  3. I couldn't help but notice that Dung Scotus.....sorry, my bad...Dun [sic] Scotus doesn't really have a blogger profile.
His arguments are lame, to say the least.
BTW, my two Senators from Georgia voted nay on Sibelius.

  4. Dun Scotus: All you've done is prove to any decently educated Catholic that you know nothing about which you talk. If you honestly believe that the RCC has a "bloodthirsty indifference to capital punishment" you need to run (not walk) to your nearest orthodox Catholic resource. And it might help you to take off your anti-Catholic colored glasses too.

You are depriving yourself of all the beauty that Catholicism holds in order to cling to what society has indoctrinated you.

Strive for being well versed in Church teaching next time instead of spouting off mistruths, ok?
