Is This Upcoming Birthday a Secret?

America's 250th birthday is just around the corner. Have you heard one word about it in the mainstream media? The 1976 bicentennial was hyped long before it arrived. and we are only a little over two years away from this historic event.

So why the silence? Where is the enthusiasm for celebrating 250 years of America? What is the difference between the America of 1976 and the America of today?

There were few people in our country shouting "Death to America" in 1976 like recently happened at a pro-Palestine demonstration in Michigan. Few pastors imitated Rev. Jeremiah Wright screaming, "God damn America."

We were not treated nightly to scenes of mobs defacing and tearing down statues to our forefathers and other historic figures. We did not see public building burned and cities taken over and abandoned to squatters claiming to be fostering love as they looted and pilfered and vandalized businesses.

How many of those invading the country at the southern border hate the country they are so eager to enter? Many have a rape mindset. Take whatever you want and leave the victims dead or maimed and stripped of all they own.

Will America even make it to its 250th birthday or are we already a rotting corpse dressed in the shredded rags of 1776?

What was it like for the people of the roman empire as it crumbled from within? Look at what's happening here and you will understand: a collapsing economy, persecution of people of faith and vandalized churches, murdered babies filled by the woke "law" of materfamilias.

Not a happy birthday picture that's for sure.

So what to do?

Pray and fast first of all. Then proudly raise the American flag and work at the local level for just laws that respect all our citizens. Respect those just laws and urge others to do so as well. Read the Constitution. Read St. Thomas Aquinas on patriotism:

“Man is a debtor chiefly to his parents and his country, after God. Wherefore just as it belongs to religion to give worship to God, so it belongs to piety, in the second place, to show reverence to one’s parents and one’s country.” (ST.II-II.101)

America is not primarily our government leaders many of whom are evil who care only about power and money. America is her citizens. If we are a moral, godly people we will endure. Let us pray for a tsunami of grace to pour out on us from above.

The next time you sing O Salutaris Hostia at Benediction, a hymn composed by St. Thomas Aquinas, read the words in English:

O saving Victim, opening wide,
The gate of heaven to man below!
Our foes press on from every side;
Thine aid supply, thy strength bestow.

To Thy great name by endless praise,
Immortal Godhead, one in Three;
Oh, grant us endless length of days,
In our true native land with Thee. Amen

Our true native land is heaven. If we embrace God's will in all things, heaven can begin here on earth. May God bless us all with a determination to do what we can to bring about the reign of Christ the King.

  1. They are not discussing created equal's birthday because they know that those words gave promise to abolish abortion as they did slavery.

  2. The 250th is one more reason to pray Trump wins. Real Americans need a reason to feel proud.

  3. Except that trump is states rights on abortion.

  4. From a Catholic view, Is this government worth saving?
    - Arguably founded as a Freemason nation disguised with Protestant Christianity.
    - The Liberty movement toppled Catholic monarchy’s throughout Europe.
    - God loves a monarchy. It is the form of governments He instituted for the Jews and worked through with Melchesidech.
    - We know from historic records democracies end in mob rule or dictatorship, sometimes that dictator proclaimed the are god…
    So should Catholics desire a Catholic monarch?
