The link above is a follow up to the original story after the Vatican Press Office denied it. But why should we believe what comes out of the spin center at the Vatican? Fr. Thomas Rosica, English-speaking Vatican P.R. aide, has a distinctive m.o.: to attack (and even sue) writers and bloggers who express concern about the scandals emanating from the Vatican on an almost daily basis. His latest shotgun blast was so over the top he seemed to be foaming at the mouth:

America DOES NEED FATIMA! Especially Oklahoma City on Christmas Eve

Have you heard about the atheists in Oklahoma who plan to desecrate a statue of Mary outside the cathedral on Christmas Eve? This immediately brings to mind the outrages against Mary described in the Five First Saturdays of Reparation. Archbishop Coakley is urging parishioners not to give the group the attention they seek, but to pray and make acts of reparation. I hope all reading this will make reparation by taking the Fatima message to heart and living it.

For several months now, I have been reading every book I can get on Fatima. I believe Mary's apparitions there hold the key to our future. Why? Aren't private revelations optional? They aren't doctrine and believing in them isn't necessary for salvation, right? In one sense that statement is true. The only thing necessary for salvation is to follow the two great commandments, to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself -- no small feat actually. As Jesus said to the lawyer who correctly summarized the law, "Do this and you shall live."

Sister Lucia Didn't Think Much of the Bishops....

I continue to read Mark Fellows book on Sister Lucia and it is a real eye-opener. He quotes from some of her correspondence. In one letter she wrote:

God willing, the meeting with the Archbishop of Mitilene will have gone well, and His Excellency will not be one of the chicken-hearted...I think the best course would be that things be done with the bishops' full knowledge, but without them taking responsibility (as if they did not know), this is to say, to avoid the inconvenience of fears...Afterwards, when success comes, they can then declare that they took part in it.

And Planned Parenthood "has volume because they're a volume institution." And a lot of that "volume" comes from money provided by the taxpayers that lets them promote their false image as a caring organization that really helps women.

The question is, however, whether the conscience of this country is too dead to wake up. How many German citizens closed their eyes to the callous murder of millions of already born individuals? How many held their noses to avoid smelling the stench from the crematoriums in the camps and held their ears to avoid hearing the cries of the prisoners packed into railroad cars?

We've been doing the same thing in the U.S. since the 1960s when the first abortion laws were passed. And now will people see and repent? Let's pray so. None of us knows how much time this country has left, but one thing is for sure. We deserve a major chastisement and God has been more than patient with us. Remember what the Blessed Mother said at Fatima, "Do not offend the Lord our God any more, for He is already too much offended!" And that was in 1917! Have we improved since then? Conversion begins with prayer and repentance. Let's do penance for our own sins and the many souls who are in danger of hell.

Yes it does make one ponder! And doesn't the devil just love to give the one-fingered salute to heaven on the anniversary of an important Marian event? He thinks he's so smart and clever and how he hates that humble maidservant of the Lord!.

 Say Jesus' name 13 times every day with reverence and love to give Satan a slap down!

"At the Name of Jesus every knee must bend in the heavens, on the earth, and under the earth, and every tongue proclaim to the glory of God the Father: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!"

It makes me laugh to think of the devil being forced to his knees to praise and proclaim God. Yes, I know he's a spirit, but he's been known to take on a visible form to trick souls. So I have no doubt he will be forced, at Jesus' name, to kneel before our Savior King and proclaim Him while all hell groans. (Yes, Virginia, there is a hell and unfortunately it's heavily populated. The Blessed Mother doesn't lie and neither does her Son.)

Did You Know About This Millstone (Oops...milestone)?

Did you know that June was gay pride month at the Pentagon? For the first time in its history, the U.S. military celebrated the disordered attachment of same sex lust among those serving in the armed forces. Leon Panetta made a video celebrating "diversity" and the repeal of "Don't ask, don't tell." Panetta's address helps advance the lie that homosexual attractions is a civil rights issue of "equality."



The homosexual agenda isn't about equality for all; it's about special privileges for the few. When has the Department of Defense ever celebrated its Catholic members? Traditionally, Catholics have made up about 30% of the armed forces. Let's take a look at these two "diverse" groups.

Panetta celebrates the "diversity" and open proclamation for those who are so deluded they pretend the rectum is a vagina. Letting them openly proclaim their disordered inclinations is cause for celebration and shows respect for their integrity. Wow!

There's no celebration for the "diversity" of Catholics in the military who believe, like all ethical believers for thousands of years, that marriage and the traditional family are the basis of every healthy society. No, Panetta has no praise for their "integrity" -- just the opposite in fact. While the homosexuals have thrown open the closet and are welcome to celebrate their depraved sexual expression, Catholics and other people of faith are being silenced. Not only are they being warned not to criticize the new, politically correct policy, but some are being told not to mention Jesus. "Get in line or resign," one was told! Can you imagine what will happen in the future to any serviceman sexually harassed by a homosexual? The troops have been warned not to engage in sexual harassment of gays. But for gays harassing straight servicemen - no warning for them. And yet the increase in assaults by homosexuals is alarming. How many servicemen will think twice before reporting an assault by a homosexual? Remember how female rape victims were treated in the past? Men have even more reason to be ashamed and embarrassed not to mention worried that by coming forward they will be seen as the problem because it casts doubt on the policies now in force.

No one can predict what this insanity will do to the military over the next decade and more. One thing is for sure, however.  Making the military a social engineering experiment is not likely to improve military readiness. What happened to Israel in the Old Testament (being overcome by her neighboring enemies) looks like our future. Maybe we should all enroll in foreign language classes. Take your pick: Chinese, Russian, or Arabic.

One last point: Do you think it's an accident that the administration chose June to establish this "gay pride" abomination? June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, that heart that suffered over the sins of mankind including the depraved sins of homosexual lust. The devil may have been snickering over such a "victory" but, in reality, the timing emphasizes the love and mercy of Jesus for all who are enslaved by the evil one. We all need to offer prayers of reparation to the Sacred Heart and make sacrifices to save poor sinners before they fall "like snowflakes" into the everlasting fire of hell.

Remember the three little shepherds of Fatima who carried the message of repentance to the world. Let us make Jacinta's plaintive cry our own. "We must pray very much, to save souls from hell! So many go there, so many!...Why doesn't Our Lady show hell to sinners? If they saw it, they would not sin so as to avoid going there. I'm so sorry for sinners! If only I could show them hell."

Heavenly Father, give us the gift of fear of the Lord that we might, if not for love, stop sinning out of fear of eternal punishment.

My Virtual May Crowning: Thank You, Blessed Mother!

Pray in reparation for all those who do not know and love the Blessed Mother and for those who desecrate her statues, attack her name, and hold her in utter contempt. Pray for the minions of Planned Parenthood who put out sacrilegious pamphlets and comic books using her images to promote abortion. Pray for the Protestant preachers who desecrate her statues as they falsely accuse Catholics of idol worship. (Do they not have pictures of their mothers in their homes? Do they not think that Jesus followed the Commandment to "Honor your father and your mother?" Above all, listen to Mary's message at Fatima. Pray the rosary daily for peace in the world and do penance in reparation for the sins of the world. The Holy Eucharist and the rosary are the most powerful spiritual weapons for soldiers of Christ. Let us use them often.
