Mike Voris Weighs in on Papal Resignation

And among those considered candidates for next pope?

A man named Peter.

It is an interesting possibility in view of the prophecies of St. Malachy. We know not the day or the hour, but the signs of the times are certainly ominous. Pray for faith, hope, and charity -- and the grace of final perseverance.

  1. I know this sounds picky but isn't the correct term "abdicate" (as in a monarchy), not "resign" (as if it were a secular institution)?

  2. I'm hoping and praying that it's Raymond Burke, but God's will be done.

  3. The more I look up the qualifications of Cardinal Burke, the more I like the idea of him becoming the next pope. He is a Canon Law expert and certainly knows exactly what is going on in the United States and how to prune it.

  4. A faithful African cardinal might bring into the Church the African Anglicans also.

  5. It's time for an African or Latin American pope!

  6. There is an African cardinal named Robert Cardinal Sarah whom I like, but he in his late seventies. He is being considered though.
