St. Ignatius is in mourning! |
What's happening in the Bergoglio Church is horrifying. Let's look at a few of Archbishop Vigano's points:
- A Jesuit on the throne of St. Peter violates the Ignatian rule that no member of the Society of Jesus should occupy a position in the hierarchy;
- The Jesuits have aligned themselves with both the Italian and global Left including the Democrat Party in America and the Chinese Communists.
- The Catholic left has lost the "necessary consistency" approach to politics in favor of "the heterogeneous bestiary of progressivism in the name of Malthusian environmentalism, the indiscriminate welcome of immigrants, gender theory, and the religious indifferentism sanctioned by the Abu Dhabi Declaration."
- The left has abandoned the Biblical principle to proclaim the Gospel to all nations, instead adopting the "easiest environmentalist and immigrationist claims of the globalist agenda."
- "It has been reported in the news that Jesuits in America have received grants of nearly two million dollars (over four years) from George Soros, and it seems that the same agreement between the Holy See and the Chinese Communist regime has been financed by large annual donations from Beijing to the Vatican."
- The Deep State, Trump’s sworn enemy, is joined by a Deep Church that spares no criticisms and accusations against the incumbent President while winking indecorously with Biden and BLM, slavishly following the narration imposed by the mainstream. It matters little that Trump is openly pro-life and defends the non-negotiable principles that the Democrats have renounced – the important thing is to transform the Catholic Church into the spiritual arm of the New World Order, so as to have an imprimatur from the highest moral authority in the world, something that was impossible with Benedict XVI.
- In view of all this, Vigano alleges that, "the honor and moral authority of the Catholic Church in the sight of the whole world is at stake."
Who can disagree with that assessment? The Deep Church is indeed in bed with the enemy, undermining the faith of millions of Catholics. For the Vatican to align itself with the evil Chinese Communist Party in a secret agreement illustrates exactly how serious our current situation is.
It's important for Catholics to remember that "Peter" is not just the man, but the unchangeable institution of the Church founded by Christ. The pope who sits on the throne can be wrong and even evil. He is not elected by the Holy Spirit, but by the school of cardinals, many of whom are often worldly and venal men. Look at the history of the Church. During its "Dark Age" between 882 and 1046, a period of only 164 years, the Church saw a succession of 45 popes and anti-popes. Among those, fifteen were deposed and another fourteen were assassinated, thrown in prison, or sent into exile. It was a time of incredible upheaval!
So don't despair, at the same time, the Holy Spirit was active in the hearts of holy men and women. It was during these troubled time that the monastery of Cluny was founded (910). Western monasticism was in decline, but the Order of Cluny succeeded so dramatically that within two centuries 1200 monasteries had been founded. As Pope Benedict XVI said in a Wednesday audience in 2009:
They promoted sacred music, they wanted architecture and art to contribute to the beauty and solemnity of the rites; they enriched the liturgical calendar with special celebrations such as, for example, at the beginning of November, the Commemoration of All Souls,...and they intensified the devotion to the Virgin Mary. Great importance was given to the Liturgy because the monks of Cluny were convinced that it was participation in the liturgy of Heaven. And the monks felt responsible for interceding at the altar of God for the living and the dead, given large numbers of the faithful were insistently asking them to be remembered in prayer.
The Lord continues to do great things in times of great trouble. We need only persevere in prayer, penance, and fidelity to pass on the faith in all its integrity, no matter what the unfaithful do, even those in Roman collars.
Viva Cristo Rey!
