| The revolution has been going on for a long time. This book is well worth reading! |
...a shadow magisterium competes...with the authentic shepherds to shape, or rather misshape, the minds and hearts of Catholics.... The revolutionaries are found amongst theologians, professors on university campuses, liturgical design consultants, seminary teachers, and employees in diocesan chanceries and parish offices. They develop curricula, organize seminars, run national organizations, work for the USCCB (U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops) and teach in Catholic schools. Some are deliberate and malicious; others are useful dupes and fellow travelers. All work to replace the Catholic faith with modernism, ... the "synthesis of all heresies."

Ideas have consequences. Filling our heads with the true, the good and the beautiful leads us to God who is Truth Himself, as well as being all-good and all-beautiful. Conversely, filling our heads with the false, the evil, and the ugly... well... what do you think the result is?
My New Year's Resolution is to watch the Crisis of Faith Series (CFS) offered by the SSPX. The first few episodes are introducing some of the false philosophies that undergird the world's embrace of modernism, the "synthesis of all heresies." Some of those introducing bad ideas were not malicious. Nevertheless, they contributed to screwing up the world bigtime.

| Archbishop Georg Gänswein was summoned to a meeting with Pope Francis yesterday. Hopefully Nothing but the Truth will be translated and released in English soon. I would have liked to be a fly on the wall at that meeting with Francis. Read more here. |
Yes, indeed, this blog is free speech zone. I enjoy discussing and debating ideas (in the classical sense). It helps us all grow in wisdom and truth and also helps develop the skills of critical thinking, research, and analysis. You may wonder, then, (or maybe you don't) why I moderate all the comments.
We'll never know. If he did, the liars at the Vatican who hate the TLM would be sure to bury his request under a pile of horse manure. "Burn those papers, Judas! We can't have Benedict's wishes known to the world. More people might turn to that cursed TLM!"
Louie Verrecchio has an interesting post on his blog, akaCatholic, The Hidden Testament of BXVI: More evidence. Check out the whole thing, but here's the relevant bit:In the present case, it is entirely reasonable to believe that BXVI did in fact express his wishes for a simple funeral, one that avoids the spectacle of Heads of State converging on Rome from around the world such as they did when JPII died.
