Wlhoa...Obama Increases Federal Agencies Tracking Guns from Three to Nine

Well, if you can outright confiscate them, the next best thing is to put as many agencies as possible in the role of meddling. Wonder how much it will cost when all these agencies are tracking legal gun ownership.

Obama gun order triples Cabinet agencies required to track guns

  1. Anything to make government cost more ... Obama is hell bent to crash the economy. He's making a lot of progress.

  2. I think that Murphy's Law and the Law of Unintended Consequences are going to come into play here.
I worked for the Minn. DOT for 27 years, and during that time we had to connect with cities, townships, counties, occasionally other states, the Metropolitan Council, once Canada, and numerous consulting firms.
The plurality of agencies doing (sometimes) the same thing at the same time in the same place was a great recipe for foulups, turf squabbles, data garbled in transmission, you name it.
I am rather confident the same will be happening here: feds will be tripping over one another's feet and very little gun tracking or confiscation will really get done.
In other words: net effect zero.
    Smile.
