Back to School: A Tragic Reality

Millions of children around the country started school this week and some even earlier. But many millions of children did not join their peers. I wish I could say it's because they are schooling at home, but they aren't. These children, about a third of the student body, never saw the light of day because they were murdered before birth.

The children attending school are the survivors of abortion. But many of their classmates just didn't make it. Some of those classmates would have been your children's best friends, teammates, scout buddies. What they would have become as adults we can only guess. It's mind boggling to consider what has been lost through their untimely end.

We mourn the loss of life from an auto accident or plane crash, but the loss from abortion is so staggering it's almost beyond comprehension.

Keep that in mind as you watch your young ones go off to school and pledge to pray and sacrifice for an end to this terrible atrocity.
