On Gaudete Sunday, Let Us Sing Praises to the Holy Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven!

And a hat tip to Vox Cantoris for alerting me to this breathtaking Ave Maria!

  1. And a happy Feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, when the Blessed Mother appeared to a simple peasant, and through his simple obedience and devotion ultimately converted an entire pagan civilization (Aztec).

It is always through the small, the simple, the unseen, the "unimportant", the powerless, the hidden that Our Lord through Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth performs his mighty deeds of power, mercy, conversion to the holy light of the Holy Trinity and defeats our enemy the devil.

Also on this day I enrolled in St. Maximillian Kolbe's Militia Immaculatae. This Saint saw the gathering spiritual storm before the Second World War, its almost certain threats and conclusion and was led by Grace to form a spiritual organization for the Faithful to meet the spiritual dangers and to spread the light of God's Grace to the multitudes lost in darkness.

This is Satan's time, but Juan Diego saw, and passed on to the Pagan Aztecs, and to us, that who the pagans worshipped was to be crushed in the head by the heel of Our Queen. The Consecration of Russia will be a miracle of Our Lady, will convert the world to God and there is nothing Satan or those who follow him can do about it.

Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

  2. That sung Angelus was breathtakingly beautiful. I remember when that group, Chanticleer, was starting out, I saw them on a Martha Stewart (Christmas?) program. One of the original singers was Martha Stewart's nephew. Perhaps he is still with them. What amazing talent. Thanks for posting!
