Thank God for another Trump Blessing! Bye-bye Contraceptive Mandate.

I bet the Little Sisters of the Poor
are thanking God for President Trump!
Trump Ends Contraceptive Mandate! Praise God!

Contraception may be the most serious moral evil ever treated like a ho-hum, no-big-deal societal staple. Think about it. Abortion is a horrendous sin that kills a baby, but that little one will live for all eternity.

Contraception doesn't just will the death of a soul; it wills the non-existence of a soul willed by God. In that sense it is even worse than abortion because a soul is not only physically murdered but denied existence at all.

Hillary's Secret Plan to Fill the Government's Empty Coffers?

We have a plan 4 u.
The entire universe heard and saw live on TV two-faced Hillary's hypocritical disconnect on abortion and choice. (It's only a choice for some, but not for others.)

During tonight’s 3rd Presidential Debate while discussing Supreme Court Justices who might overturn Roe vs Wade, Hillary was adamant that the “government has no place in a woman’s decision on abortion. It’s a very intimate decision and the government has no place in it.”

Yet Hillary wants that same government to continue its HHS Mandate forcing Americans to violate their conscience by providing abortions to those women whose right it apparently is not to have the government not allowing them to kill their child.

In other words, Hillary, a prime example of a two-faced hypocrite, double deals with the rights of the American people to make their own decision on abortion. She is resolute and unyielding when it comes to women and choice, but the Catholic Church, the Little Sisters of the Poor, Priests for Life, Catholic colleges and universities, Catholic employees and anyone else opposed to dismemberment of a baby in the womb, must be forced to violate their conscience and agree to the mortal sin of abortion or else be jailed, sued or fined enormous sums of money.

Possibly this blood money is Hillary’s secret plan to fill the government’s bleeding empty coffers?

Obama as Nebuchadnezzar! The Little Sisters Must Bow to the Sex God!

The question is, will the Supreme Court be the enforcer of Obama's immoral demand? It's clear that Obama's purpose is to force Christians to violate their consciences. As the article below indicates, there were many ways to achieve the government's purpose without forcing people of conscience to cooperate with evil. But that's exactly the point. All must throw their pinch of incense into the bowl to honor the sex god!

Persecution Watch: No Tolerance for Little Sisters of the Poor

Court Rules Against Little Sisters of the Poor

If this ruling stands the Little Sisters of the Poor will no longer be able to care for the elderly poor and handicapped. Excuse my cynicism, but that's exactly what the Obamanistas want. When only secularists are in charge of health care for the vulnerable, they will be much easier to kill. "Palliative care" specialists can convince families that starving and dehydrating their loved ones to death is a euphoric way to go. (Oh, and by the way, it's sooooo much cheaper than keeping them alive another year or two.) Yeah, starvation is enjoyable, a real pleasure, -- right! That's why we see pictures like this being used to raise money for the starving poor in the Third World. I'd like to see all these judges eating a cup of beans and rice every day for a week and see how they like it.

Tell these children what a euphoric experience starvation is.

And ask the families of Hugh Finn and Terry Schiavo what a great death their loved ones experienced. I talked to Hugh Finn's mom outside the nursing home in Manassas, VA where he was being starved and dehydrated to death by his "loving" wife, Michel. She was distraught and kept repeating, "Don't ever let them tell you this is an easy way to die."

And will the gruesomeness of these deaths cause repentance over murdering the helpless? Don't bet on it! I expect the next iteration of the death peddlers to be insisting that a nice, easy, lethal injection is a preferable way to go: too "cruel and unusual" for serial killers, but euphoric and wonderful for the elderly and handicapped.

Pray for the Little Sisters of the Poor and even more for the vulnerable people who will face the grim reaper if the sisters are forced to stop caring for them. Mother Teresa, saint of the vulnerable poor, pray for them and for us!

Put These Holy Women on Your Christmas List and Those Who Defend Them!

The Little Sisters of the Poor are saintly women who serve the elderly treating them with grace and dignity. My mom volunteered for years at one of their homes near Baltimore. When I visited with her  occasionally, I was impressed with the atmosphere of peace that pervaded the home and the cheerfulness of the residents. What a wonderful organization to support this Christmas! We are! Visit their website here.

The Becket Fund is defending this wonderful order of sisters. Please visit their website and help them help these wonderful women. I'm sending them a Christmas card with a thank you note and a donation.

And please pray for the conversion of our nation. Nothing illustrates the evil of the current administration like their persecution of the Little Sisters of the Poor and other religious organizations! Obama's contempt for the First Amendment is despicable and his hatred for people of faith (except Muslims) is palpable. Pray for him and his cronies. They really are the nightmare before Christmas.

REAL Nuns: Tlhe Little Sisters of the Poor

While the "nuns on the bus" treck around Ohio claiming to speak for the poor and disadvantaged while they work to reelect the most anti-life president in history, REAL nuns who REALLY work with the poor describe how devastating Obama's policies are to the poor. Here's what the Little Sisters of the Poor who care for 2500 elderly patients in their 30 homes say about Obamacare's impact on their apostolate:

Cardinal [Timothy] Dolan blogged about the HHS mandate and its impact on Catholic organizations and services. He is very clear about the costs of the mandate. For example, if we were to stop offering health insurance rather than comply with the mandate, we would have to pay a $2,000 penalty per employee. This penalty aside, it just does not seem right to us to stop providing health insurance to our employees.
If we chose to offer insurance without the objectionable services, we would honor our consciences, but we’d have to pay $100 per day per employee. As the cardinal figures it, for an organization with 50 employees, that would mean almost $2 million per year.
So if the mandate is still standing in 2014, all of our U.S. homes will be facing serious financial difficulties. To put this in perspective, we already have to make up at least half of our operating expenses through donations, because Medicaid reimbursements cover only about half of what it costs to care for the elderly in the way they deserve. So the potential fines or penalties we’re looking at just make it that much harder. (Read more...)
My mom volunteered for years at the Little Sisters' home on Maiden Choice Lane in Baltimore. We should all have a special place in our hearts for these dear sisters who love those the world considers useless. Instead of working to convince their patients to commit suicide, the sisters treat them with dignity and respect. God bless them! And it just demonstrates one more reason to vote against the intrinsic evil of the Obama/Biden ticket. Romney has promised to end Obamacare. With the help of a conservative Congress he can do it and that will make an immense difference to the elderly and to those who serve them. It isn't only about abortion.

The Little Sisters of the Poor and my Mom

I love the Little Sisters of the Poor. Until six months before she died at age 83 (in 2002) my mom used to go over to their nursing home on Maiden Choice Ln. in Catonsville twice a week to volunteer. She visited the "elderly" many of whom were younger than she was. Sometimes she wrote letters for them or she mended their clothes or just came to smile and chat. Often she was the lector at the noon Mass on her visit days.

My mom was an amazing lady who cared very much for others including the little ones in utero waiting to be born. Every January she organized the parish bus for the March for Life and, except for the last January before she died, she was there with her walker making the treck up Capitol Hill. She sold red and white carnations on Mother's Day to support the local crisis pregnancy center and was herself a generous donor to the pro-life movement. She wrote frequent letters to the editor defending the babies, and sometimes defended the faith in her own parish from the errors of the resident dissidents. She wanted others to like her, but not enough to be silent when the truth was being tromped on.

She enjoyed her 37 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren (many more since she died ten years ago) whenever she could. Fortunately she had some nearby. "Grandma" morphed into GG (for great grandma) in her later years. She loved it!

When one of my sisters asked a daughter what she thought it meant to dress modestly, she answered "To dress like Grandma." Mom almost always had on a skirt and on the lapels of her jacket she wore the little feet, a rose pin, and several other pro-life symbols. She was neat as a pin and had a cheerful disposition and a big smile. When she was dying she always shared that smile with the visiting nurses and aides. The closest she came to complaining was the forlorn question, "Why is it so hard to die?" Among her last words was "thank you" to the aide who came to give her a bed bath two days before she died. What a legacy and a challenge to those Mom left behind. When people comment on my cheerfulness, I always say it was a gift from my mom, and it's true. All my siblings are cheerful as well. What a great testimony to mom!

It was a blessing to me today to see the Catholic Key Blog about the Little Sisters of the Poor. It sent me on a walk with my mom down memory lane. I can't imagine a greater companion for that journey. Love you, Mom.
