Tim Kaine's Response Illustrates the Lies and Hypocrisy of Democrats

I recently wrote to Senator Tim Kaine urging him to stop holding the American people hostage and vote for the continuing resolution to end the government shutdown. I got the following letter in reply which is obviously a form letter so filled with lies and hypocristy I just shook my head as I read it. This letter is nothing but proof of the "performance politics" practiced by the Democrats. It deserves the hook! Lies and hypocrisy bubble out of the blather. See what you think. My comments in red.

Cardinal Joseph Bernardin made a career out of speaking with an orthodox tongue while he undermined serious moral issues. His "seamless garment" provided cover to many pro-abortion Democrats like Ted Kennedy who could posture on the moral high ground as a serious Catholic while he voted to dismember babies in the womb. I mean he opposed executing serial killers, for heaven't sake! How much more "Catholic" can you be?

I wrote the other day about the 14 Catholic senators who refused to support the ban on aborting babies after 20 weeks who feel the pain of being torn limb from limb. Many of the abortion-enabling politicians use the "seamless garment" to justify themselves. They continually tell us how much they just luuuuuuv the weak and vulnerable...with one exclusion (well, millions of exclusions actually) -- babies waiting to be born. Hey, the babies can't vote and won't be fodder for elections for years, so who needs 'em? After all, the feminists and pro-abort adults can vote and pandering to them is a career enhancer for Democrats.

Let's face it. Democrats have proven themselves to be enemies of free speech for their opponents. Conservatives are shouted down on college campuses (If the students aren't out burning and bashing.) and at town halls and rallies. How many dirty tricks discussions did young Linwood Kaine overhear in the living room growing up? Is disrupting, throwing smoke bombs, etc. a big anomaly for Democrats? Not that I've noticed lately.

We know Linwood's Dad, Senator Tim Kaine, is a liar from his posturing as a "devout Catholic" when he disbelieves central tenets of the faith among which are the right to life of the unborn, respect for those already born, and love for the truth. So Let's all say a prayer for this misguided young man that he experiences a conversion and then works on good, old Dad. Our Lady, Help of Christians, pray for us.

No surprise. Fr. Martin has a track record applauding liberal dissenters, and Senator Tim Kaine who claims to be a "traditional Catholic" is certainly a dissenter, if not a heretic.

Does Kaine really think he's a faithful Catholic? Since he was trained by the Jesuits it's actually possible he does. Jesuits think the V-Monologues and homo porn are Catholic sex-ed programs.

After all, liberals (including most Jesuits) think being a Catholic means lobbying for more government money for food stamps and other goodies while making speeches about how much you care about the poor.
