Biden had to get special permission to do this, so we know it was an act flaunting his contempt for Catholic teaching on marriage. What will be the repercussions from Cardinal Donald Wuerl (Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.) or Biden's Wilmington bishop, W. Francis Malooly? I'm not holding my breath. Several bishops have recommended in the past that Biden be banned from speaking in Catholic venues and abstain from Communion, but there's no evidence he's ever complied.

No surprise. Fr. Martin has a track record applauding liberal dissenters, and Senator Tim Kaine who claims to be a "traditional Catholic" is certainly a dissenter, if not a heretic.

Does Kaine really think he's a faithful Catholic? Since he was trained by the Jesuits it's actually possible he does. Jesuits think the V-Monologues and homo porn are Catholic sex-ed programs.

After all, liberals (including most Jesuits) think being a Catholic means lobbying for more government money for food stamps and other goodies while making speeches about how much you care about the poor.

I know Jim well. He was my congressman when I lived in Alexandria and I picketed his events often, mostly over his pro-abortion positions. Once at the Torpedo Factory (now a pricey shoppers' venue) he went around to a back door to avoid us. Well, heck, why not? All those dangerous ladies in skirts out front with signs?  He loves women, can't have press photos with young women (I was one once.) opposing him. That was during the Clinton administration and a picketing friend and I were talking about his plan to resign his commission in the Navy (He was a Captain.) over Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

One of these events occurred at my alma mater (and Nancy's) Trinity Washington University which grieves me very much. But read more here. This woman has turned her back on the Catholic Church while she pretends to be, and actually calls herself, a "devout Catholic." I'd believe her if she called herself a devout democrat or a devout feminist or a devout pro-abort, but she sure ain't a devout Catholic. She gets away with it because the mainstream media panders to Catholic heretic politicians. To bad the media aren't in charge at the pearly gates.
