Censorship is Alive and Well

Well, the gurus at this platform got me again for two articles which were removed. One was about the Church and Twilight Zone. Was it this photo that initiated the censorship?

Or was it the commentary about the insanity in the German Church? Who knows? They never tell you, just drop the curtain over your posts.

If you read Blogger's guidelines, they can censor anything at all no matter how truthful, non-violent, and accurate it is. You can read their guideline policy here and note that they can turn anything into "hate speech" or "misleading content."

This particular post got a lot of viewers coming from Canon212 which may have triggered the censorship. Did some readers of a certain persuasion complain? I'm sure they found it offensive. God forbid that we should tell the truth about intrinsic moral evils that endanger the souls of those who engage in such sins.

FreeRepublic posted the article here, so it's still on the internet. I wish I were more tech savvy. I'd switch to a different platform. I've started using substack, but things don't post the same way and I haven't learned how to use it as easily as I could use blogger. I'm one of those old dogs who has a hard time learning new tricks.

We'll see if this post stays up. Meanwhile, anyone coming from Canon 212 or any other site that linked to the ariticle will get a not found message.

I'd appreciate a few prayers that I can continue this little writing apostolate if it is pleasing to God and helpful to those trying to practice the faith according to the will of God.

May Jesus Christ be praised!

Just Wondering..... Who Does Google Run Interference For?

 Planned Parenthood?

The post I did the other day about Planned Parenthood and their Telehealth unsupervised chemical abortions being the modern bloody coathanger has received almost no views. Strange and I'm guessing it's no accident.

So here's the link and I invite readers to go check it out and let me know if they've seen it.

Of Internet Trolls and Censorship

I got another book-length comment from a troll yesterday which pushed me over the edge on suffering fools, an expression my dad sometimes used which I never liked. I take seriously the biblical admonition not to call your brother "raca." But, really, there are so many out there trolling the internet and enjoying the power of anonymous insults!

Blooper deleted my post on the damage of shooting up with the CO**D thingy!

Really! We're all brainless children who need to be protected by the ignorant bots run by the Blooper fascists who want to exercise mind control on anyone stepping off the woke path.

Nobody is allowed to know the truth and if you encourage people to do the research with links to the reputable docs telling the truth, "Bye-Bye Blooper post." They make Pravda and China's thought control media look like pikers.

Disinformation Board Censors Speech in First Century Jerusalem

Peter and John cure the cripple at the gate, by Nicholas Poussin 1655

If you want to correctly interpret the madness of our own time, you can often find similar situations in the Bible. That's exactly what I found yesterday morning when I was reading Chapter 4 of Acts of the Apostles. Really! The more things change the more they stay the same. The "banality of evil" marches to the same drum in every generation. Liars lie. Minions of Satan engage in strategizing to keep themselves in power and annihilate their competition. That's exactly what happened in the first century: truth debunked as "disinformation," unpopular speech censored and forbidden. The competition labeled as insurrectionists troublemakers who must be forced to shut up or face persecution.

Censorship on My Bookshelf -- I Rejoice to Burn the Works of Heretics!

The book burner is at it again. I'm organizing my library of Catholic books and have been going through my Mary shelves.

I have a lot of books that I inherited from a Catholic priest, many of which were gifts to him. The one I picked up this morning has an inscription indicating it was a Christmas gift. The book, Mary and Your Everyday Life by theologian Bernard Haring, C.SS.R., has an Imprimi Potest (approval by a religious superior that a book may be printed) and an Imprimatur (approval to publish by an ecclesial authority which can be the author's own bishop).

So...does this book about the Mother of God cut the mustard, so to speak, to remain on my bookshelf?

Short answer?

Who Are the Book Banners?

Liberals demanding censorship. Ya just gotta laugh at their blatant hypocrisy. They criticize conservatives for fighting pornography. They, you see, are broadminded and conservatives are prudes. But depicting a traditional family -- horrors -- that must be banned. And of course they also want to rewrite and purge books of (check all applicable) male pronouns, non-inclusive language, all offensive terms including "niggardly," depiction of the nuclear family, mention of God or faith, pictures of Christmas trees, crosses, crucifixes (unless submerged in urine), images of Our Lady (unless covered in elephant dung or dressed in a bikini)...well, you get the idea.  And here's the latest

Censorship in New York: The Truth Hurts

This four-story billboard was pulled from a building in the SoHo district of NYC after complaints to Lamar advertising company led by Al Sharpton. So much for free speech. Can't have pro-abort New Yorkers upset with by the truth! A few black babies might survive the abortion gauntlet.

Notre Dame Observer Censors Charles Rice Column on Homosexuality

Law Professor Charles Rice has been writing for Notre Dame's independent student newspaper, The Observer, for years. But this week's Viewpoint column was rejected. The topic? Church teaching on homosexuality. Read about the controversy including the lame excuse for the Editor's censorship at the Fumare blog.  Isn't it ironic. Notre Dame's president invites the most pro-abortion politician in history to scandalize the graduating seniors and their families last May. No censorship there. But censorship of Catholic teaching is a-okay. If you want to send Professor Rice a supportive email you can reach him at rice.1@nd.edu. You can contact the editor of the Observer here. Pray for restoration of the faith at Catholic campuses. And only support solid Catholic schools. You can check some out on the sidebar.

Twelve Year Old Lia Saves a Life and other pro-life news

Well, little Lia, whose five minute video speech against abortion is circulating the internet like wildfire didn't win the speech competition. She did something a lot better -- she saved an unborn baby's life.

Academic Freedom? Watch college students shut down a pro-life talk at St. Mary's in Halifax. Security police had the student club disperse (not the protestors) because of the pro-abortion students' infantile behavior. So much for the right to free speech at this university. Do you think that would have happened to a gay rights club on campus? Jojo Ruba, the speaker expressed his dismay at the university's actions. Read more...

A faithful husband won't give up on his brain injured wife. Unlike Nancy Cruzan, Hugh Finn, Terri Schiavo and Eluana Englaro Erika Sotela has a loving family member who promises fidelity to his wife, "until God has the last word." Read more...
