Church Militant's Hatred for the SSPX Explained: Part I
Looking at the past can often be the magnifying glass that explains the present. Since so many have wondered about the fanatical hatred Church Militant (CM) has for the SSPX, I decided to take a good hard look at the origins of Real Catholic TV/Church Militant/St. Michael's Media and their financial and personal connections to Opus Dei. What an eye-opening search. Michael Voris and his team have been liars from the very beginning, hiding their personal and financial connections to Opus Dei and others with a rabid hatred for the Society. The lying and hypocrisy are deep and wide.

A Perspective on the Vatican Leaks, Etc.
Mike Voris pegs it again. Pray for our Holy Father that he will stand firm against the internal enemies intent on destroying the faith. The smoke of Satan has indeed entered Holy Mother Church. But that smoke will never suffocate her.

Can Western Civilization Recover from the Downward Spiral?
Moral and cultural relativism bring about the collapse of civilization. Catholic morality is the only solution. Proclaim the truth in season and out!

Is Western Culture in its Death Throes?
Yes, according to Mike Voris of Real Catholic TV who spoke last night in Front Royal addressing the topic R.I.P. Western Civilization. Voris, with a background in history, described how the disintegration of a civilization comes about. First the culture collapses morally, then economically, and then the government is overthrown. It was chillingly obvious that we are well on the way and that the demise of the Roman Empire has much to teach us. St. Augustine wrote the City of God as Rome imploded and the barbarians ushered in the dark ages. Christians, Voris said, need to reflect on what's coming next and be about the business of saving souls.

The Feud in the Church
This is a must viewing! Mike Voris pegs it again. If you don't understand what's happening in the Church, listen to this. Here's a preview:
"There are huge chasms of differences among the leaders themselves....The scourge of the Church...is not in the office of the bishop...the scourge is the differences among the bishops themselves....There are bishops who do not agree with the authentic teaching of the Church."

The Virtual Reality of the Homosexual Universe
Homosexual activists live in their own dream world -- a world of virtual reality where they create the entire universe in their own disordered image. So, as the video below shows, they claim that anyone and everyone is really a lesbian or homosexual including saints of the Catholic Church. Those of us who deny it are just closeted "queers" (their word) who don't want to admit the truth. They demand that everyone join in their game of let's pretend or prepare to be the target of their hate-filled "jamming."
I have five children and have been married to the same man for 42 years. Both of us have lived faithfully according to the vows we made on our wedding day. And, believe it or not, we still enjoy each other's company. We found out just how much when we took a seven week cross-country trip last fall camping in a 30 foot pop-up. We were together 24/7 hiking, biking, visiting churches, and stopping to see friends and family. It was great fun! I don't think we had a cross word the entire trip. Yes, I am a happily married woman who believes that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman made before God "until death do us part." Homosexual hookups can never be marriage.
On a number of occasions, some brilliant homosexual propagandist has commented on my blog that I must really be a closeted lesbian because I write about homosexuality. The fact is, I write about it because the activist homosexual movement, which is bitter and hate-filled, is targeting everything I hold dear as good and holy. Traditional marriage must go because gays want to play house. Children in the schools must be indoctrinated because gays don't propagate and new homosexuals must be recruited from among the young. Christians must be muzzled and their free speech rights denied because gays demand the entire world say that sodomy is holy and equal to the marital embrace.
Hogwash! I have sympathy for those afflicted with same-sex attraction and I pray for them. It is a heavy cross to bear. But it is no less disordered than any other temptation to evil. Does one really think that sexual attraction to children is normal and good? Yes, actually, the homosexual movement wants to lower the age of consent and some of their "experts" claim that child-adult sex doesn't hurt children but can actually benefit them. Tell that to the parents dealing with the sex abuse of their little ones. Thank God, most Americans have not yet swallowed that bilge as reaction to the Penn State scandal shows.
During the years when the "red peril" caused serious concern about the possibility of nuclear war, some people said they would "rather be red than dead." But for those who love the truth there are values worth fighting, and even dying, for. Joan of Arc, who is being slandered by the gays, stood for those values. Doing the will of God trumps everything, and Jesus, the beloved Son, is our model. He is the way, He is the truth, and He is the life. When we stand for the Truth we stand for Him. Sometimes the truth hurts and sometimes it makes people want to kill you. That's why Joan died as a matter of fact. She was a martyr to the politics of her day.
It is the same in every age when people call good evil and evil good. But the truth remains and must be spoken as charitably as possible. Some will dismiss it and continue to tread the primrose path of dalliance to their destruction, but some will listen and their hearts will be touched and converted. Let us pray through the intercession of Joan of Arc, who lifted the siege against Orleans, that many enslaved by homosexual lust will be freed from their chains.

Some Truth on Vatican II from Mike Voris
Vatican II is about to reach its 50 year anniversary. The shambles modernists made of the Mass spouting nonsense about the "spirit of Vatican II" is being turned back to some degree. Any success in this direction can be attributed to the faithful who have responded to Vatincan II's the "call to holiness." Pray the rosary daily for the intention of the restoration of the faith, especially in the United States and our own neighborhoods, because that is where our children and grandchildren are learning about God.

Michael Voris addresses the CNA Article
I haven't mentioned the Catholic News Service Article attacking Real Catholic TV because I was waiting for the "rest of the story." I thought the paperwork aspect of the article was ridiculous. Les Femmes is incorporated and I file an annual report with the state that is pro-forma. The more serious issue about the inappropriate video game created by Simon Rafe needed addressing.
Michael Voris covers both both these issues in a recent video response available here. He does it well. I believe RealCatholicTV is being targeted because they have guts and don't mind taking the heat. I wouldn't be a bit surprise if many of the bushwhackers wear roman collars or work in the Church bureaucracy at either the national or diocesan level. The fact that they are engaging in a smear campaign just proves how effective Mike Voris and his little band of soldiers are.
Let's face it, the real war is in the Church as it has always been. Jesus' worst enemies were the scribes and pharisees of His own faith. The same is true today. Some of the worst enemies of the Church participate in papal conclaves and lead dioceses. It is actually a proof that the Holy Spirit leads the Church that it has survived evil clerics for over 2000 years including wicked popes.
As for Mike Voris -- a big thanks for his clear and no-nonsense response. And I'll be sure to renew my priority membership to RealCatholicTV when it's due.

USCCB Bullies Attack Real Catholic TV
When I saw the statement about Real Catholic TV not being "approved" for World Youth Day I was not surprised at all. Of course the liberal bureaucrats at the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) don't approve. Faithful Catholics rock their dissident Catholic boat.

The Catholic Funeral Scandal from a Priest's Perspective
When priests scandalize the impact is much greater than when the scandal comes from the laity. How much bad priests will have to answer for on Judgment Day, not only for their own evil actions, but for making life so much harder for their faithful brother priests struggling to do God's will.
Pray for priests!

How Many Will Be Saved?
A few days ago I blogged about the saints' views on how many will be saved. Well, seems Mike Voris and I are on the same wavelength. He posted quotes from the saints on the same question. It's pretty chilling to think that most people will be lost. No wonder the little children of Fatima tied rough ropes around their waists, gave their lunches to children poorer than themselves, and drank from puddles as penance for poor sinners. "We must save poor sinners," little Jacinta with her tender heart often said.
We need to foster a tender heart for sinners. St. Francis of de Sales says to judge ourselves sternly and others with charity. So let us commit to pray, fast, and do penance for poor sinners. Perhaps the degree we are willing to suffer for others will determine our own salvation.
Jesus, be merciful to me, a sinner. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, save souls.

"Truth Lights Up the Mind"
One more on-target message from Mike Voris to annoy my anti-Voris readers. What's not to like about this articulate young man who says Real Catholic TV and St. Michael's Media's only goal is providing material to help save souls? I want to be part of that! That's why I'm a subscriber to Real Catholic TV.

More on Mike Voris being banned in Scranton: an outrageous double standard!
I blogged a few days ago about this situation under the title MikeVoris: the Stoning of a Prophet. Here's more on the story from Mike Voris himself (below). The thing that concerns me most here is that Archbishop Vigneron of Detroit has a reputation for orthodoxy. So who in the chancery badmouthed Real Catholic TV to the Scranton Bishop? Was Archbishop Vigneron aware? If he was, his reputaion takes a serious blow. If he was not, who's running things in Detroit? In either case it reflects badly on the Archdiocese.
I think I'll write to the Archbishop and ask him. If you want to join me, here's the contact information. I follow three rules of thumb when I write to bishops and politicians (Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.): short, to the point, and polite. Snail mail or FAX probably gets more attention than email.

Happy Monday, Liberal Catholics are in an Uproar over "Taliban Catholicism"
I got my laugh for the day (maybe the week) when I opened up my email this morning and found a link to an Associated Press article titled Catholic bloggers aim to purge dissenters. The author, Rachel Zoll, describes orthodox Catholic bloggers saying, "Enraged by dissent that they believe has gone unchecked for decades, and unafraid to say so in the starkest language, these activists are naming names and unsettling the church."
That is good news, indeed! The liberal bishops in the United States who cozy up to pro-abortion politicians, finance groups that support abortion and contraception, let homosexual activists hold pride events in their parishes, and on and on -- I'd say they need a little "unsettling."
Zoll quotes two sides of the spectrum. Michael Voris, commentator of The Vortex on Real Catholic TV and head of St. Michael's Media, a bastion of orthodoxy, says, "We're no more engaged in a witch hunt than a doctor excising a cancer is engaged in a witch hunt. We're just shining a spotlight on people who are Catholics who do not live the faith." And he does it with panache and power!
Then there's John Allen, Rome correspondent for the dissent rag, the National Catholic Reporter. He's the one coining the term "taliban Catholicism," although he says it can also refer to liberals who are enraged by any exercise of Church authority. But on the Internet, Zoll says, "conservatives are having the bigger impact."
When liberals whine about the orthodox, you know you're having an impact. They label every disagreement "vitriol" or "violence" or both. I know; I've been accused of it often enough for disagreeing with a liberal's position. I hope I can consider myself among the Catholic bloggers criticized in this article who are reviled for speaking the truth:
If you want to see one of those "taliban Catholics" in action visit Real Catholic TV and watch The Vortex. Above all, read the article. It will make your day! But skip the comments -- they're an anti-Catholic diatribe. No surprise. The article is posted on MSNBC after all.
As for what one exemplary prelate thinks of that "taliban Catholic," Mike Voris:

"Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of slander against you because of me. Be glad and rejoice, for tyour reward is great in heaven; they persecuted the prophets before you in the very same way."Certainly, what we do must be done in charity, but tough love means calling a spade a spade and a heretic a heretic. (By the way, the definition of heresy is the denial of a doctrine that must be believed. Those pro-abortion Catholic politicians who say they can "personally oppose" abortion while publicly supporting it are heretics!)
