Editor's note: Our godson, who is also a nephew, attended a town meeting in Holly Springs, N.C. on Tuesday, June 8th, to speak against the town adopting a Pride Month proclamation. I applaud him for his commitment to the truth. We see our children and grandchildren indoctrinated daily with immoral and false teachings magnified by proclaiming "pride month." Accompanying it are all kinds of celebration events that promote a false image of sexuality and encourage children to experiment with deviance.

We celebrate our country's founding on the 4th of July, a testimonial to America's commitment to freedom. What does Pride Month celebrate? Sodomy and lies about man's very nature. People can celebrate their sin privately, but forcing it on the rest of us is wrong. It reflects bigotry and tyranny. However, evil is never content with tolerance; it demands approval. There is absolutely no tolerance for those who embrace God's laws and holy will. Evil demands the pinch of incense. I'm happy to say that there was no Pride Month proclamation in Holly Springs!

Guest Post: The Real Problem Causing Kids to Kill!

Editor's Note: My brother-in-law nailed the "real problem" in today's society in his letter to the editor printed in the Wheeling News Register. Guns don't make people kill. Breakdown of moral norms and rewarding violence does. How many were charged during the BLM/ANTIFA riots? There were no consequences for criminal acts. In fact, those who looted, assaulted police, and torched buildings made out like the bandits they were carting off TVs and other electronic devices and entire shopping carts of loot. 

It's the First Monday in June; What's on Your To-Do List?

As a Catholic mom rearing our five children, I always tried to spiritualize our daily life: morning prayer, prayers at meals, discussion of the meaning of holidays (holy days), planning a weekly family home night with prayer, activities, and a special treat. I tried to help my family look at everything we did through the eyes of faith. I continue that practice with our grandkids. Governor Ron DeSantis Encourages Dads in the Home to Reduce Violence!

TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis encouraged fathers to participate in their families lives in an interview with First class Fatherhood discussing the fatherhood crisis in the United States.

“If you had every kid in America had a loving father in the home, we would have far, far fewer problems that we would have to deal with as a society,” DeSantis said.

The Governor urged fathers to be present in their kids’ lives. DeSantis shared the struggle he faced spending time with his family while serving as a member in congress when his daughter was born in Florida.

“I’m sitting in my office in D.C. wondering ‘why the hell am I up here?’ I really want to be back down,” he explained.

DeSantis said the Governor’s role is more “family friendly” and allows him to see his kids for dinner or in the mornings.

“If I’m going to do public service, I wanted to make sure I could do it in a way that was more family friendly,” he said.

The Governor signed legislation to tackle the fatherlessness crisis in Florida. Last month he signed legislation to support fathers and children by connecting men with career services and boys with mentorship.

DeSantis said in April that kids without a father being more likely to drop out of school and get in trouble with the law.

“I do think there are a lot of problems, but if you could just snap your finger and do one thing, and you did this where the fathers were in the home, you would not even need to worry about a lot of these other problems.” DeSantis said.

We are approaching an election cycle.  Certain Democrats would very much appreciate a crisis like this to take the public's eyes away from the utter mess that Biden et al are making of the country.  Saul Alinsky, in his book "Rules for Radicals", said "never let a crisis go to waste".  The Democrats are excellent students of Alinsky, and they would chomp at the bit to exploit such a crisis like Uvalde, perhaps even to the point of contriving one.
