The icon for a learned lunatic!

I ran across the expression "learned lunatics" on the Orthosphere blog. They define their title as a sphere of influence that expresses right, correct, and straight teaching. The authors are all Christians: Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox who share their thoughts about the disordered societies of the West. I was intrigued by the article A Shifted Attitude: What Gender Ideology is All About describing a summer English class at Texas A&M where the gender unicorn did gyre and gimble in the wabe. The author described the learned lunatics among his colleagues.

The description of "learned lunatics" is apt today, especially on college and university campuses; in psychiatrist and counselor offices; in courtrooms where lawfare is the order of the day, the blindfold ripped off Lady Justice; and, of course, in media and corporate offices where editors and CEOs skewer the truth with lies, bias, and exaggeration.

The House Democrats hardly waited for a moment of silence to end honoring murder victim Turning Point USA president Charlie Kirk before they started hollering for gun control. That was after they shouted, "NO!" when Rep. Lauren Boebert called for a spoken prayer. How many leftists ridiculed prayer just days ago after the children were murdered in Minnesota? Remember when they nixed mentioning God in their party platform? Like columnist Joe Sobran always said, Democrats are the "evil party." They own that distinction more today than ever!

Thanks, Chuck Schumer for threatening the lives of Supreme Court Justices and rallying your mobs with words that motivate them to plan assassinations.

We are approaching an election cycle.  Certain Democrats would very much appreciate a crisis like this to take the public's eyes away from the utter mess that Biden et al are making of the country.  Saul Alinsky, in his book "Rules for Radicals", said "never let a crisis go to waste".  The Democrats are excellent students of Alinsky, and they would chomp at the bit to exploit such a crisis like Uvalde, perhaps even to the point of contriving one.

In the "secret" video below, Debbie Miller, an indoctrinator a "teacher" in the Broward County public schools, reveals exactly what was going on at the March for Our Lives. It was a setup from the beginning. And it's not about protecting the kids, it's about using the kids to ban guns and gut the second amendment. Giffords is doing the PR, Southwest Airlines donated all the seats on the plane for this group of provocateurs! And at the end of the March they planned to go to the NEA building and "have hot chocolate." (Isn't that cute for all those student "leaders" who pulled off this massive protest in just a few weeks. Wow!) This teacher illustrates exactly what is happening in the public schools -- It's not education; it's indoctrination! And he should know since his administration was responsible for Fast and Furious, the feds' program to flood our neighbor to the south with thousands of our guns which ended up in the hands of criminals. That reality made the President's statement laughable when he said, "I will continue to do everything in my power to pass common-sense reforms that keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people."

Right! Like the drug cartels that used guns from Fast and Furious to kill Mexican citizens and a U.S. border agent? Get real!

This message is from Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee. Law-abiding citizens need to partner with the police to protect themselves and others. The function of the police department is primarily to investigate crimes and catch criminials AFTER THE FACT. Police aren't mind readers. They cannot be in every house in the country guarding people. Rich folks hire bodyguards and have expensive security systems to protect themselves, their families, and their property. What do you have?

Now really, this is just too mean. If I had put together this photo, I would have used more sensitive language: "Pin the Brain on the Mentally Challenged." And, of course, we all know that gun control policies are not being developed by "morons," but by anti-American tyrants. I think my new year's resolution will be to take a gun safety course and CPR. Then, if I have to shoot and disarm a home invader, I can give him first aid.

Remember Ruby Ridge? Government agents entrapped Randy Weaver and later sent an FBI team to his home in the hills where they shot his 12-year-old son in the back and killed him and then shot his wife standing in the door holding their infant. Randy was also shot in the back. Later Randy was acquitted for killing an agent.  No one in the administration went to trial for their murders.

Samuel and Vicki Weaver with were murdered by federal agents under altered "rules of engagement."

Remember Waco? Seventy-six men, women, and children killed by the BATF and their buddies. No trial, no jury. They killed the kids to save the kids! No one in the Clinton administration was punished. The local sheriff who occasionally shot at the compound's shooting range, said he could have gone up to the door, knocked and talked to David Koresh.

I definitely think assault weapons should be banned for the federal government. No American is safe while the feds have these instruments of murder and death.

Okay, folks, it is time to recognize the evil of baseball bats and get them off the streets. Please petition your congressman to introduce a bill banning and confiscating all baseball bats. We also need "baseball bat free zones" around every school in the country. Let's reduce the danger and violence that these weapons represent to our neighborhoods!
