No Protection for Medical Professionals in Senate Bill

Conscience Protections for Pro-Life Medical Professionals Not in Senate Health Bill

There's an interesting reality about evil. It's voracious. It is NEVER content with consuming the soul of the sinner. It must force the non-sinner to cooperate in the evil so it can consume him as well.

You don't want to pass the abortionist his bloody tools to perform the murder? Too bad, do it anyway. You don't want to sell the pill that will prevent the tiny baby from implanting in the womb? Too bad, do it anyway. You don't want to participate in the starvation and dehydration of a handicapped person? Too bad, do it anyway. You don't want to pay for all these things? Too bad, do it anyway.

Satan is a greedy devil. He wants every single one of us and will do whatever he can to get us. So follow the advice of St. James. "Submit to God; resist the deveil and he will take flight. Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands...purify your hearts.... Be humbled in the sight of the Lord and he will raise you on high." James 4:7-10

  1. I have sympathy for conscience rights because in med school I was required to violate MY conscience rights.

You see, I believe that Catholics should not reproduce nor be helped to reproduce. And yet, I was forced to help provide obstetric care to CATHOLICS! I was forced to help deliver babies which my conscience and faith say I should have aborted.

    Let's support ALL conscience rights!

Medical professionals are "scientists" and apparently know less than 5 years olds about telling the difference between carrots and people - so why should we give 2 flips about them? You certainly give them no credit.

  3. So you're an anti-Catholic bigot, are you, OC? Why does that not surprise me? I'm saying a Hail Mary for you as I write this.

There are two kinds of doctors, those who have as much integrity as 5th century pagan Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, and those who, as CO says, can't tell the difference between carrots and people. One group cares for their patients; the other kills them.

As for conscience, OC, yours appears to be dead. But where there's life there's hope, so I'll keep praying for you.
