I wish I had known Joe Sobran. We sat at the same table once at a Brent Society dinner, but he was on the opposite side and, sadly, we didn't get a chance to converse. He seemed shy to me at the time. There's a lovely tribute to Joe
here and I hope you will take the time to read it and appreciate this wonderful writer who has been called Chestertonian. That is praise indeed and he deserves it. His long-time column in The Wanderer was one of the first things I read every week. Good night, Joe, and God be with you.
