Well, Nancy, aka
Madam Defarge, is determined not to "go gentle into that Good Night." She plans to seek the minority leader position which pleases Republicans no end and provides the chuckle for the day:
Ken Spain, Communications Director for the Republican National Committee quipped, "Given that there are now 60-plus defeated Democrat House members urgently seeking jobs due to Nancy Pelosi’s failed leadership, we welcome her decision to run for House Minority Leader based on her proven ability to create jobs for Republican lawmakers."
Seems the Madam Defarge metaphor is more appropriate than ever. Nancy not only attacked the weak and defenseless, but she brought about significant head-rolling in her own party and decimated the so-called blue dog Democrats. She no doubt isn't sorry to see them go. Democrats with even minimal pro-life convictions are unwelcome in the party of child-killing. And so the tale continues....
