Democrats: The Real Enemies of Democracy!

I thought I was beyond being shocked by the Democrats, but their antics since the election illustrate an appalling disrespect for the American people. Almost daily we see public announcements by liberal politicians about how they will work tirelessly to prevent Trump, a duly elected president, from accomplishing anything. Over half the country supports his agenda? Too Bad! They are all fools who just didn't know how good they had it with the Biden/Harris administration. On to the midterms!

Gavin Newsom with the help of his lackey state Dems immediately went on the get-Trump warpath after the election and earmarked $50 million to "Trump proof" the state. California couldn't spend money to provide California with effective firefighting strategies because they were too busy spending taxpayers money advancing abortion, gay rights, transgender mutilation of children, and environmental wackoism. They cut the fire department's budget by millions, let the reservoirs dry up, and left the fire hydrants empty. How are citizens likely to react as the state continues to prioritize defranchising all the "deplorables" in the state who voted for Trump while they continue their woke policies? It's head-shakingly stupid. Unfortunately, the low information voters addicted to CNN, MSNBC, and the networks will likely continue along the same path. I know some of them.

But it's not just the state lunatics on the warpath. Democrats in Congress are displaying their Trump Derangement Syndrome publicly on a daily basis. Schumer has made it clear the Democrats will work tirelessly to block Trump. Many of his colleagues have come out publicly in foaming-mouth agreement. And, of course, the drive-by media continue to be allies. Schumer is already repeating the Dems ubiquitous class warfare lie that Trump wants to give big tax breaks to the rich and screw the poor. Coming from a party that enables the wealth of Big Media and Big Pharma, not to mention their own personal wealth (Remember Joe Biden, the "Big Guy"!), Schumer's claims ring hollow. 

Right now the confirmation hearings are going on. Pete Hegseth's opening statement was interrupted by protestors. It looks like an organized disruption with progressive outbursts. Chuck Schumer plotted with his confreres to use the confirmation hearings to create fireworks. He told his fellow Democrats at a closed door meeting last week that they have more to gain from obstructing GOP plans than working with them. Does that show concern for the country and a desire to improve the lives of the average working class family?

According to AXIOS, "The losses of Sens. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) leave Democrats without a single member representing a truly red state." These are the states the Democrats see as filled with ignorant conservatives clinging to their Bibles and their guns. Democrats pretend to care about families, but have shown over and over again that they care only for their own power and bank accounts. Sadly, they have plenty of company on the other side of the aisle.

Watching Jesse Watters and Sean Hannity last night, I had to shake my head over the ebullient attitude about Trump's election. You would think we've put a savior in the White House. Personally, I think a little calm, level-headed assessment would be more useful. I'm reading the Book of Daniel and the Books of Maccabees. They provide a history of the changing governments, often advanced by war. Most of the leaders are tyrants, some more benevolent (Cyrus and Darius) than others. But on the whole, the people suffer most of the time. Trump faces a devastating economic disaster from overspending for decades. The devastating wildfires, Hurricane Helene, and other natural disasters don't help. 

The best thing Trump could do on day one is to dedicate our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and for he and Melania to repent of their past sins and emphasize respect for life from womb to tomb. The rest of us can help by praying for our nation's conversion. Respecting God's laws is the surest strategy to achieve peace and prosperity. I'd like to think Trump means what he says in this video. Let's all pray for him and the incoming administration.
