This just in from the Thomas More Society:
Breaking News: The Pro-Life Prisoners Have Been Pardoned!
No American should be in prison for their pro-life beliefs.
That's why Thomas More Society attorneys have been on the front lines fighting to defend the peaceful pro-lifers persecuted by Biden's DOJ.
Earlier this month, Thomas More Society attorneys submitted to the Trump Administration formal pardon petitions for 21 pro-lifers seeking clemency.
We do not charge our heroic, pro-life clients a single penny.
We rely entirely on the goodwill and financial support of Americans just like you to defend pro-life, free speech, and the right to life, in courtrooms across America.
Your tax-deductible gift today will help Thomas More Society advocate for these peaceful pro-lifers and so many more like them.
Thank you for your prayers and your generosity.
Just like with born-alive protections, this is pretty low-hanging fruit. Also, it puts them in same bucket as the j6ers, some of whom were Proud Boys ("stand by!"), others who Trump invited to the capital with "be there, it will be wild!"
ReplyDeleteLet's just acknowledge that states-rights Trump, raper of the GOP platform, has a long way to go to redeem himself. He has refused to abolish abortion even if it was brought to him on a platter.
And how, pray tell, does he have the power to end abortion? This reminds me of all the "pro-life" people who did almost nothing to oppose abortion who were always telling me what those of us who were actively involved should do. And, of course, if we followed their advice abortion would have been eliminated long ago.Trump told the crowd to go demonstrate peacefully and legally. The media has been slandering him ever since.
DeleteYou're asking me how the president of the United States could end abortion? Sign a life of conception act that states the personhood of the fetus is protected by the fourteenth amendment. . For one thing. But he has said that he would refuse to sign it and he has eviscerated the GOP platforms promise to abolish. Such promise was so key to abolishing slavery!
ReplyDeleteAs much as those who were "actively involved" might wish otherwise, the deep state had their activism on mute, as compared with the 1960s civil rights. Compare MLK days in jail to pro-lifers years in jail eg May Wagner six years! Msm has always muted prolife civil disobedience.
Do not be deceived by trump token gestures and be wary of those who tout these tokens. Too many people are in prolife for a career instead of feeling the urgency to end abortion now. For slavery it took union soldiers lives to abolish. The least we could do is give up our prolife careers in favor of abolition instead of dragging them out with incrementalism. Pro-lifers should tell trump that their vote was *not* a mandate for anything but abolition. There is hope with today's DNA technology that abolition could be easier to deal with than ever! Abortion is actually a man's (undeserved) right to have rape and fornication covered up. See momanddadmatters.substack.com for more on these topics.
Ah...if only you were president.
