A Challenge to the U.S. Bishops on Their Support for the Illegal Invasion

J.D. Vance recently called out the USCCB (U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops) over their hypocritical policy on immigration and deportation. The fact is that everyone who enters our country illegally commits a criminal act. The pope recently established a policy tightening the Vatican borders and increasing penalties for violaters. Most parishes have signs in their parking lots saying trespassers will be towed. Do the bishops have an open door policy at their chanceries or the USCCB building in D.C. or their personal homes? Short answer: NO! Long answer: HELL NO!

In view of the blather coming out of the bishops about immigration, it was refreshing to hear Vice President J.D. Vance call out the bishops for their hypocrisy and see cancelled bishop Joseph Strickland stand up for common sense.

Check out the article and pray that Trump will find the hundreds of thousands of children brought here illegally who have disappeared. Child sex trafficking is a monstrous problem that the bishops seem to have little concern over. Pray that our U.S. bishops will become the true and faithful shepherds they are called to be instead of hirelings lusting after the federal grants that poor millions into their coffers.

  1. On Sunday, Jan 16, 2006, doing his Angelus audience “Pope Benedict XVI asked the faithful to join in the fight against ‘discrimination, injustice, and contempt,’ of immigrants……etc.”

Pope Benedict is correct – in part. Catholics should always show mercy and extend charity to immigrants and refugees, legal or illegal, as fellow humans, as brothers and sisters in Christ. But he is clearly in the wrong if by his appeal he asks of Catholics or any other citizens to look the other way in the face of massive immigration invasion that threatens its citizens, that threatens to bankrupt the country……..Pope Francis is an obedient pupil of his predecessors. He is the result.

    1. I agree with you, Anonymous, except for your last statement. Pope Francis clearly represents a rupture with the past. That statement identifies you as a Protestant and probably ignorant of 2000 years of Catholic history. We've had a number of bad popes but Pope Francis is in a league of his own. He often says things that are true and in conformity with the faith, but also says (and often does) things that directly conflict and turn the faith on her head. He in no way is an "obedient pupil" of the pope martyrs and many of the admirable popes like Pope St. Pius X, Pope Pius XI, Pope Pius XII, Pope Leo XIII, etc. etc.

    2. 'Pope Francis is an obedient pupil of his predecessors. He is the result'.......was meant for the post-Vatican popes.
I was surprised that you have missed that, but glad that you posted (justly) the pre-Vatican II Popes.

      Viva Cristo Rey!

    3. Forgive my misunderstanding. I have several anti-Catholic visitors who like to attack the Church and all the popes. We are in total agreement. Thank you for the clarification.

    Excerpt:
“How can we effectively secure our now wide-open borders? We have long argued that the smartest and most moral course to follow would be to bring all U.S. troops home from every trouble spot and foreign base in the world (who ever gave us the right to police the world at the expense of thousands of our sons’ lives and at the cost of trillions of our tax dollars in the first place,) redeploy some of these forces to guard our unprotected borders. It’s one of the few legitimate functions of government to protect its own citizens, not to conduct military operations all over the globe……….”

  3. "Just because we were founded by immigrants 240 years ago doesn't mean today we have to have the stupidest immigration policy on the planet." Love that!!!!!

  4. I suspect the ones discriminating against and taking advantage of "immigrants" are the very ones who are promoting illegal immigration.

  5. The moneygrubbing of the usccb is an affront to good catholics. They hide behind lovey-dovey words while assisting criminals, enemies of America, and disbursing the ill-gotten gains of a criminal u.s.govt.
They need to be brought low, and likely prosecuted for their America-Last socialist policies.
