Some Good Political News for a Change!

If the "never Trumpers" were victorious in November I shudder to think about what we'd be facing now. But they weren't and there's plenty of good news on the home front every day. Trump has put some great folks in the cabinet and has signed some terrific executive orders. Lets take a look at a little of the good new:

• Sean Duffy, Catholic father of nine whose youngest has Down Syndrome will run the Department of Transportation. What a witness this family will be to the country. Many little Down Syndrome angels are likely to be saved because of this beautiful family and their faith. Who can look at precious little Valentina and not smile!

• Brian Burch head of Catholic Vote is the new ambassador to the Vatican. No more in-your-face disrespect like the previous homosexual ambassador who liked to fly the Pride flag at the U.S. embassy. Talk about disrespecting the country you've been assigned to, ugly American indeed!

• Trump plans to end federal funding of gain-of-function research that puts us all at risk by making viruses more lethal and more easily spread from animals to humans. [Source]

• Saying, “We will forge a society that is colorblind and merit-based,” Trump signed an executive order ending DEI programs which have put all Americans at risk across the board. Would you rather have pilots, air traffic controllers, police officers, doctors, teachers, etc. who are black, Hispanic, white, gay, transgender, female, etc. or the candidates who show the greatest proficiency to do the job well regardless of race, color or creed? Ending DEI wokism is just plain common sense. Who wants a less competent pilot in the cockpit or a surgeon who graduated at the bottom of the class? [Source]

• Trump has withdrawn the U.S. from the Paris climate accord: "Since the 2015 Paris climate agreement, the United Nations has boosted that annual extortion to $300 billion per year, with a stated goal of increasing it to $1.35 trillion per year by 2035. There is no climate change rationale for this, only the extortion of American taxpayers to pad the pockets of Third World dictators." [Source]

• Trump pardoned 1500 January 6 protesters and commuted 14 sentences. Many of those arrested and incarcerated (and a Harris administration would be charging hundreds more if they won) did nothing more than enter the building through open doors. Dr. Simone Gold was one of them. She had a permit to speak outside the Capitol which was revoked at the last minute. She went inside and began to deliver her prepared statement. She was arrested and threatened with a long sentence which convinced her to plead guilty to a minor charge and spend several months in jail. These were the strong-arm tactics the Left used to give the veneer of legality to their action. One of those released was Brent Bozell's son. Brent is head of Media Research Center and his son attended Bishop Ireton with two of my sons. I applaud Trump's actions putting an end to the witch trials which can never be fully investigated because the committee destroyed the evidence of their political persecution. Biden's pre-emptive pardon shows exactly how guilty Liz Cheney and her cohorts are. They should all be in prison taking up the spaces of the pardoned January 6ers! [See Epoch Times]

I could go on...and on. Many of the president's day one executive orders relate to protecting our country from the illegal invasion at the southern border. We will be a little safer for the next four years because of his swift action to protect the sovereignty of our nation from those who criminally disrespect our laws. Legal immigration continues. This is NOT about keeping people out of the country. It's about sensible and LEGAL entry. 

Please pray for President Trump. I plan to write him a letter every month, pray for him and his administration daily, and have Masses said for him and his administration. Will you join me?
