Of Miracles and Bad Shepherds

It's looking like the site of Noah's ark really has been found. Will the skeptics mock? Often when I read an article about evidence for biblical events and miracles I think of this quote:

“For those who believe in God no explanation is necessary. For those who do not believe in God no explanation is possible.”

The quote is often attributed to Franz Werfel who wrote Song of Bernadette, because the film included a similar quote in the introduction. It does not appear in the historical novel, however, although Werfel's powerful testimony to the Lourdes miracles proclaims it without words. 

Verdict is in. Praise God! And now let the Lawsuits against the Driveby Media Begin!

Kyle Rittenhouse found not guilty on all counts in Kenosha trial

Nick Sandmann has offered assistance to Kyle to sue the biased mainstream media for trying to guarantee a guilty verdict. In a column for the Daily Mail, Sandmann wrote this:

"Kyle was almost immediately labeled a 'white supremacist' and a 'domestic terrorist.’ To many, my red MAGA hat clearly meant that I was a racist," Sandmann continued.

There's one prominent name missing from the list of villains mentioned for lawsuits by Nick Sandmann over last year's debacle at the 2019 March for Life -- Fr. James Martin. He immediately piled on the students last year and, I believe his slanderous comments are still on-line although I'm not sure how to search Twitter to check it out. I tried, but I guess I'm not computer savvy enough and trying to back up a year of tweets was overloading my computer.

It is interesting how so many, who vehemently assert that Greta Thunberg had no right to be born, are now asserting that her voice must be heard and taken seriously by those who condescended to allow her to be born. Having already been born, she now proclaims that other pre-born children must be denied the right to live before they can accelerate global warming by their presence on our planet.

The Greta Thunberg phenomena is certainly puzzling. Here we have a young girl, who appears even younger than her 16 years, being paraded around as a climate expert.

The smiling student was condemned without a trial for the "facecrime" of "smirking." Hey, it just looked like a calm smile to me.

But then I couldn't read Nick's thoughts like the vicious media/entertainment thugs who went after him with virtual woodchippers and chain saws.

Read Allie Allie's article about the left's new double-down against these kids and President Trump. As Tucker Carlson said last night, this wasn't about what the kids did (nothing wrong) but about who they are, Catholic white males. The media, who couldn't spend two minutes covering the March for Life, focused like a laser beam on this fake story turning these youngster's into "Hitler youth," ravaging "beasts" going after their "prey," and other abominable epithets.

Trump doesn’t hate them because the opposite of love isn’t hate – it’s indifference. And that’s how Trump is to those who don’t matter (and there are a bunch of people who do not matter – no real unique and special snowflakes exist). These establishment types are simply soldiers to the president. And soldiers are nothing but a great leader’s tool.

Looks Like Nathan Phillips is NO VIETNAM VET!

Nathan Phillips Is Not A Vietnam War Veteran 

The Marine Corps was pulling out of Vietnam in 1970 when Phillips was 16. Even if he went into the Corps as an emancipated minor he could not have served in Vietnam, although, according to the article he never claimed to. In view of the fact that every major mainstream media outlet calls him a Vietnam vet, it's hard to give him a pass. There's sure been no attempt on his part to correct the record.

Covington Diocese Website is Down This Early Morning

There is no retraction yet by the Diocese of Covington (as of 7:00 a.m. today) of the knee jerk response to Nathan Phillips' street theater performance condemning the Covington High School boys for disrespecting him. When I looked at it yesterday the statement condemning the boys was still up. This morning the site is down. The high school's site is also down.

One mom whose daughter was at the Lincoln Memorial with another group describes how the drum-beating liberal activist first approached her 15-year-old daughter (wearing a pink Trump 2020 hat) but moved on when her frightened and horrified reaction failed to provide the correct atmosphere for his "victim of the racists" scenario. Adult male terrorizes teenage girl would not make a particularly sympathetic headline now would it?
