What the Attack on Sarah Palin Reveals About Leftist Hate-Mongers

Hat tip to Ray at Political Brambles for pointing me to this great article debunking the Hollywood elite's attack on Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change.  If anything shows what liars the left are, it's their foaming-at-the mouth hatred for Sarah Palin, and HBO's hit piece illustrates it in spades. Ray, who just watched the documentary, Undefeated, that outlines Palin's record of accomplishments as Governor of Alaska had something to say about Palin-hatred as well. My comments in red:
[Undefeated] showed the malicious distortions of the left lying and caricaturing Sarah Palin in ways that I thought were amazingly malicious. They follow Saul Alinsky's rule that the end justifies the means, so "borking" anyone with whom they disagree is A-okay. How can serious people, people with any sense of decency and honesty, do that?  That one's easy. Many on the left are dishonest and don't give a fig for decency. Remember Bill Clinton, serial groper? Any party that worships a probable rapist has an ethics problem. The documentary traced Palin's rise to the governorship of Alaska and showed how much of a reformer she was, cleaning up massive amounts of corruption.  The people of Alaska are better off because of Sarah Palin's integrity and hard work.  Then the left went into destroy mode and filed endless ethics complaints with no merit but which had to be defended by Palin in court at great expense.  She had no personal fortune.  Her family is middle-class and the campaign worked, and that's itself an indictment of the left and of the whole system that lets a good governor be driven from office. The courts are the left's lackeys. If leftists can't get what they want through law, like abortion or same sex marriage, they just mandate it through the courts. Which is why we need to throw out the bums in Congress and put some in who will use their constitutional power to remove these issues from the jurisdiction of the courts. I am disgusted with the left. Sigh...me too. There is one thing that I will never do because of this kind of thing and that is vote for a Democrat. Know what you mean...I think Joe Sobran got it right when he called them the "evil party." And it's the same thing Clarence Thomas' mom said after they ran him through their attempted high-tech lynching. Andrew Breitbart appeared in "Undefeated" and one of the things he said will stick with me a long time.  He said that the failure of the Republican Establishment to defend Palin against these unfounded attacks showed them up as a bunch of eunuchs. That sounds like a compliment compared to what they really are.  That's exactly right.  We have lost the virtues of courtesy, civility, honor, and respect and in our modern world it is starting to show in the total lack of trust you can have in your political servants would-be masters.  It's disgusting! AMEN!

Good for Sarah Palin! You go, girl!

PALIN MAKES HEADLINES AND SCARES THE GOP SILLY WITH ENDORSEMENT

I recently resigned as the secretary of the local Republican Women's club. The Republican party is so morally bankrupt that people like me are fleeing in droves to become independents. When Newt Gingrich endorsed the "Republican" in New York's 23rd Congressional district , Dede Scozzafava, who is the most liberal among the three candidates running, I wanted to vomit. Who will she vote with most often -- the conservatives? Heck no! She will vote like the liberal she is and join the ranks of Olympia Snowe, Arlen Specter (Was he ever a Republican?), and other liberals in Republican drag undermining conservative principles.

According to Michelle Malkin, Scozzafava is supportd by Big Labor, Big Education, and Big Abortion. The Republican National Committee poured over $300,000 into her campaign as well. The last time the Republican National Committee called for a donation I laughed them off the phone. As long as this is what passes for principles in the party, I'm through with them.

The Republican Party is primarily an elite group of country club WASPS who mostly hold the grassroots pro-life activists in contempt. A party that claims both liberal John McCain and (Hold on, I'm trying to think of a real conservative in the top echelons....Hmmm...can't do it - guess I'll have to drop lower and name the party elite's embarrassments, Ron Paul and Sarah Palin) is a "big tent" on the verge of collapse.

Will they recover? I'm not confident. It's time to stop thinking party and fight for principles, constitutional principles defending life and liberty. It begins with the little ones in the womb. Don't vote for any candidate who won't defend the unborn. In fact, I urge you to take the pledge! Promise not to vote in the next election for any candidate who votes to give one cent to Planned Parenthood, the biggest child-killer in the nation.

And you know, I can't help noting that the first thing that crossed my mind when I read the name Dede Scozzafava was that it's appropriate for a political scuzzball. Give it an Italian intonation and you get Scozzafava the scuzz-a-ball-a.

Is Sarah Palin Down and Out?

There's a great post on Sarah Palin at Political Brambles. Take a look at Ray's comments and also his assessment of Ann Coulter's view of the Palin decision to step down from the governor's office. It makes a lot of sense if one is thinking about others instead of oneself. Sarah Palin apparently scares the pants off the left or they wouldn't spend so much ink on her. Read what David Kahane says about Palin at National Review online. As one blogger put it: this is David Kahane channeling a democratic operative. It shows up the democrats for what they are -- a bunch of thugs. But we've known that for a long time. Remember when Ted Kennedy and his mob turned Robert Bork's name into a verb during his nomination hearings to the Supreme Court? One of the most competent jurists in the country was denied a seat because he was a constitutionalist and they hated him for it. The left launched a fear-mongering nuclear attack on his character and whipped their supporters into a frenzy.

Remember the similar attempt to conduct a "high tech lynching" to deny Clarence Thomas a seat on the court? Anita Hill made accusations that were unprovable and conflicted with her actions, for example following Thomas when he left the Department of Education to go to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Hill became the darling of the left for her slander.

The thuggery goes on (think ACORN). Sarah Palin is just its latest victim. But a lady who can dress a moose is up to facing a bunch of thugs in pin-striped suits.

Unfortunately for the thugs, many in the country are starting to wake up and they're armed with righteous anger and common sense. The 2,000 tea parties on July 4th sent a shot across the bow and Obama's dropping popularity illustrates that the sleeping giant is starting to stir. In many cities, thousands turned out to protest. And a national tea party is scheduled for September 11-14 in Washington, D.C. Get your teacups ready!

Sarah Palin vs. Ruth Marcus: the Feminist Feminists Hate

Sarah Palin describes herself as a pro-life feminist and she certainly is not your average soccer mom. Her career choices have put her smack dab up against the so-called glass ceiling and she's shattered a few at the local level. One would expect the feminist movement to extol a self-made woman who has combined career and family and seems to do well at both, Bristol's pregnancy notwithstanding. (How many feminists have denied their own children the "right to choose" by dragging daughters down to the abortion mill to keep their embarrassment secret?)

The credentialed feminists with ivy league degrees detest this upstart beauty queen who to them is nothing more than the Alaskan version of trailer park trash. You can almost hear their teeth grinding as they fulminate about her being a brainless bimbo despite the fact that she can outtalk (and outhunt) all of them on energy policy and managed to beat the local political machine bosses at their own game. But Sarah must be destroyed by the feminists because she is a pro-lifer who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. She pricks their guilt-ridden consciences til they heat the media furnace to white-hot, bind her hand and foot with their outlandish caricatures, and throw her in to be burnt to ash.

Which brings me to Ruth Marcus' recent column in the Washington Post about Sarah. Marcus herself is a Yale undergrad with a legal degree from Harvard, the creme de la creme in elite circles. Her feminism is so deep and intolerant that she recently criticized Michelle Obama for describing herself as "mom-in-chief." As a mother of two daughters like Obama, Marcus can sympathize, but did Michelle "have to say it out loud, quite so explicitly? Is it really good for the team -- the team here being working women -- to have the 'mommy' stamp so firmly imprinted on her identity?"

Marcus' words link her to the early screeching, bra-burning feminists who described motherhood as slavery and demeaned women who chose it over careers. But why does she hate Palin so much whom she attacked relentlessly during the presidential campaign? Palin chose career, balancing it with family. Ah, but she breaks the biggest rule of radical feminism. She doesn't promote or shill for abortion. And so her words must be twisted to make it appear that she is, indeed, "pro-choice," but a hypocrite who wishes to deny the same choice to others.

In "Palin's Personal Choice" Marcus says Sarah "made her eloquent case for choice at a right-to-life fundraising dinner." How did Palin suddenly switch from pro-lifer to pro-choicer on Marcus' balance sheet? She expressed her fears and her doubts and, yes, the temptation to abort. As a Catholic and a sinner I know just what Sarah Palin was talking about. I too have been tempted to do evil out of self-interest, and an immoral law (as it did with slavery) makes evil choices easier to justify. Welcome to the human condition!

But distorting reality is necessary to demonize the opposition. So after quoting Palin's description of her doubts and "thought process," Marcus plays the gotcha game. "If it were up to Palin, women would have no thought process to go through. The 'good decision to choose life,' as she put it, would be no decision at all, because abortion would not be an option." The implication, of course, is that Sarah Palin is a hypocrite who could only consider abortion because it is a legal choice and how dare she deny that choice to others. Marcus goes on to make an incredibly callous statement. "In fact, the overwhelming majority of couples choose to terminate pregnancies when prenatal testing shows severe abnormalities. In cases of Down syndrome, the abortion rate is as high as 90 percent." Take that, you retards, whose lives are not worth living! Most parents are sensible enough to make the right choice to kill you!

Apparently, a majority choosing something evil is proof, in Marcus' morality, that it's a good and morally upright decision. In a society where health care rationing is increasingly likely, this is chilling. Will parents who refuse to abort Down children be cut off from health care assistance in the future? Would Ruth Marcus defend the right of parents to choose life for their sick children? Frankly, I doubt it. I can hear the same tone criticizing Michelle Obama for her statements on motherhood condemning women who inflict the world with their imperfect spawn.

Ruth Marcus reveals the cruel and cold-hearted face of feminism that treats abortion as a holy sacrament. In order to advocate women murdering their own children, feminists must kill womanly nature and the instinct to protect one's own young. They imitate Lady MacBeth who called on the spirits, to "unsex me here, And fill me, from the crown to the toe, topfull of direst cruelty...That no compunctious visitings of nature Shake my fell purpose." In the process, the feminist true believers mislead less ideologically-driven women who lack their deadly ambition but are taken in by their rhetoric.

But Ruth Marcus and others of her ilk lack the honesty of Lady Macbeth who very deliberately chose evil. Instead, they hide behind honeyed euphemisms about rights and choice and liberation. And they attack pro-lifers for "waving the bloody fetus" even as they lambast Michael Vick for dog-fighting and demand control of puppy mills.

Watch for Ruth Marcus and her feminists friends to continue their attacks on Sarah Palin. A successful pro-life woman who gives birth to a Down infant and won't demand the abortion of her grandchild threatens their entire world view. She must be destroyed for the sake of the cause. And if that requires twisting her words and manipulating the truth, well, what's new about that?

Sarah Palin, One Firecracker Politician with a Bright Future

When John McCain chose Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, he sparked a ho-hum candidacy with an electric surge that sent fireworks all over the country. Everywhere Palin went tens of thousands turned out to see the Alaska soccer mom turned governor turned vice presidential candidate. One of the risks to McCain, in fact, was being upstaged by his smart, articulate, and beautiful running mate. Palin saved an unpopular candidate, in danger of losing much of the Republican base, from a complete meltdown at the polls. Despite being defeated handily by Obama, McCain won 46% of the popular vote and may well have done better but for the economic downturn, his refusal to engage the social issues, and the mainstream media’s relentless harping on trivial issues magnified into the latest Palin (blank)-gate. the obvious bias showed exactly how powerful Sarah Palin was. Obama got a pass and media excuses for his questionable associations, fundraising irregularities, and indeterminate citizenship; while Palin had to contend with hundreds of reporters roaming Alaska to root out anyone with a grudge. Throughout it all she retained her sense of humor, graciousness, and dignity. A lesser woman would have collapsed under the relentless assault.

The savaging of Sarah Palin from liberal Democrats isn’t hard to understand. Liberals on both sides of the aisle hate her Christian take on social issues. Her unabashed pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-family credentials expose their own moral bankruptcy. The feminists, who should be thrilled at the rise of a woman through her own merits to run for the Vice Presidency, hold her in contempt for not being the “right kind” of woman. What’s that? One who will proudly kill her unborn child and unapologetically encourage her daughter to abort as well. The mean-spirited attack on little Piper Palin as she played mama cat to baby brother Trig at the Republican convention slicking down his hair with a few licks on her hand, showed how totally out of touch these angry women are with American families. The vicious rumors that Trig was Palin’s grandchild were particularly hateful. In the course of the feminist feeding frenzy, leaders from NOW, NARAL, etc. ignored Palin’s remarkable rise from small town council member to popular governor of the largest state in the country. They wanted her destroyed.

Although she's a woman with a thorough grasp of energy issues, feminists painted Palin as a diva, a prom queen, just another pretty face with no brains behind it. Their behavior was laughable. To see NOW question whether Palin could be a good mom and hold down a job at the same time made them patently (and hypocritically) ridiculous. After urging moms with children into the workforce for years, they could hardly be taken seriously. The Palin smear was reminiscent of the high tech lynching targeting Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court confirmation. Sarah, the uppity woman, meet Clarence, the uppity black.

But it isn’t just liberals who hate the governor as the nasty leaks from the McCain camp showed. The neo-con and country club Republicans detest Palin as well and appear bent on making sure this upstart soccer mom’s political career is nipped in the bud. Their anonymous attacks on her intelligence, her ability to work with others, the innuendo that she was responsible for the ridiculous wardrobe debacle, etc. were meant to undermine any future run for presidency. The Republican establishment doesn’t want Palin’s grassroots populism anywhere near the White House. Neither do they want to see a return to Reagan-style governance. Colin Powell, one more big government RINO (Republican in name only) recently joined the Palin attack basically calling on the party to move closer to the Democratics. That just indicates how very out of touch Powell is with reality. His recommendation is the very strategy that has brought the Republican party to near dissolution. Only by reclaiming authentic conservatism: less government, lower taxes, individual accountability, promotion of small businesses, etc. can the Republican party recover. Sarah Palin and other young turks like Bobby Jindal offer the best and brightest hope for a Republican comeback.

In the end, all the attack strategies against Sarah Palin are doomed to failure. Saxby Chambliss’ recent Senate run-off win in Georgia illustrates the Palin power. Despite the Obama campaign sending thousands of workers into the state to secure victory for Democrat Jim Martin and gain a filibuster-proof Senate, Chambliss won a stunning 57-43% victory. He credits it to Sarah Palin. "I can't overstate the impact she had down here," he told reporters, “when she walks in a room folks just explode.” The fireworks set off by Sarah Palin’s nomination as Vice President have just begun. She’s one smart lady with a bright political future and she has a growing fan club. Take a look at Team Sarah on the web.

Forced Abortion Incident in China Proves Pro-Choice Groups Are Pro-Abortion

Pro-abortion groups love to talk about "choice" but they never support any choice but the murder of children. Take the case of Chinese mother, Arzigul Tursun, who at six months pregnant was threatened with the forced abortion of her child. Did any of the usual "pro-choice" suspects intervene to defend Arzigul's choice to keep her child? Not a one. Nary a peep from the champions of choice. Not a single press release or comment to the media. NARAL, Planned Parenthood, Emily's list, NOW, et al save their outrage for people like Sarah Palin who dared not only to give birth to a precious little child with Down's Syndrome but didn't drag her pregnant teenager down to a PP mill to vacuum out the kid. Women who kill their grandchildren earn the admiration of the "pro-choice" crowd.

The choice propaganda is just that -- propaganda. The true pro-choicers are running the 3500 crisis pregnancies around the country offering women a real alternative, parenting or adoption, choices moms and their babies can live with. The only choice PP and their buddies want is a bloody, mangled body in the medical waste bag. And if the mother victim is a minor brought in by a sexual predator who committed statutory rape and is bringing his little sex-object to be recycled, that's okay with them too. In a Life Dynamics investigation a young woman posing as a thirteen year old with an adult "boyfriend" called over 800 Planned Parenthood facilities. Ninety-one percent instructed her how to cover-up for the predator and get the abortion. Whose choice were they protecting? The statutory rapist. Don't hold your breath waiting for the mainstream media to imitate this excellent example of investigative journalism. That would conflict with their activist approach shilling for the leftwing culture of death. Join the movement to STOP PLANNED PARENTHOOD today.

Will History Repeat Itself? The Holocaust began with Abortion.

Authors Bodie and Brock Thoene are best-selling authors who have written over 45 works of historical fiction. One of their series, Zion Covenant, focuses on World War II. In the course of researching and writing the series, they told the story of a German woman, Lori Kalner, who was a child when Hitler came to power, the daughter of a pastor. Lori wrote a letter in September warning Americans not to vote for Barack Obama. I've quoted excerpts below but urge you to read her entire powerful warning:

"I was a young girl in Germany and lived through difficult times. The world...for many years remembered what happened politically in Germany with the Depression in the 1930s. You remember how it began and thus progressed with the horrors of war which followed.
The battle was at the beginning a Spiritual battle....

"Here is my warning to all: Perhaps it will be my last warning. (I wake up each day surprised that I am still here and not in heaven with those who wait for me!)
America and the whole world hangs in the balance now. I believe that America will stand or fall depending on who is elected President this year. Good Americans, like the good Germans of my youth, may think that the issues of their nation center around the economy. I tell you now that the fate of the greatest nation on earth does not depend on money.
"Every issue must only be judged worthy and true by the Word of God. Prosperity comes to a nation and a people who serves the Lord first. That is a basic spiritual principle which is seen in every book of Holy Scripture....

"This is where the healing of America begins: Friend, you must begin with examination of your own life first and the confession of your sins. Then pray for your nation. Ask yourself now: who supports the rights of the unborn babies and also of those who are handicapped?...

"Now, today, I hear the words and know the deeds of this Barack Obama and I know that he is a 'gifted,' convincing, fellow. He is telling you how bad you have it and saying to Americans he is their messiah and the answer to all problems. The propaganda machine loves Obama. The power of the media is much greater than in my childhood; a frightening thought. But here is TRUTH: of all men in the US government this Obama has most strongly encouraged and urged the on-going slaughter of the unborn 'the useless mouths' of America. This slaughter is performed in the name of 'A woman's reproductive rights.'

"In the land of my birth, the Holocaust all began with the first step of legalized abortion. Abortion was ENCOURAGED by a downturn in the world economics....

"I warn you, my dear American friends, with love in my heart and with my last breaths that no man or woman, Protestant or Catholic, can remain in God's favor or blessing if they vote for this Obama.... Now I say that you who are Catholic must not follow after this man Obama who is gifted in his words but NOT speaking the TRUE WORDS OF OUR LORD OR THE CHURCH! You cannot be a true Catholic Christian and vote for Obama. To vote for him is to vote for continued infanticide. To Protestant Christians, I say, you are not a Christian if you support the slaughter of the unborn!

"Christianity and abortion are spiritually impossible companions....

"Do you feel you cannot vote for Mr. McCain and Mrs. Palin, who are for the LIFE of the unborn and handicapped? If you cannot support these leaders, then for the sake of your soul, I, who have seen the spiritual destruction of many good people, Protestants and Catholics, urge you NOT TO VOTE for Obama or anyone who does not support protection of LIFE!...

"Most of my generation is gone now. You who are taking control of the world have a fight ahead of you as the memory of our peril dims. I have heard and listened closely to the voices of Sarah Palin and John McCain, and my spirit bears witness that they speak truth and are the true Hope-Bearers of your generation. Sarah is a true Deborah. Pray for her and her family and also for John McCain. You must all remember what happened to us and not repeat the same mistake of apathy. If I cannot write to you again I pray we will meet in heaven and you will tell me I helped you encourage others to do the right thing for the sake of your soul and for the nation."

Please, Catholics, take note. Lori Kalner calls on you to begin with CONFESSION. I also read an exhortation from a priest recently who said the same thing. Before the election get right with God. Go to confession and join the rosary novena that begins Monday October 27th to pray daily for God's will to be done on November 4th.

Down's Children are Angels!

Sarah Palin holds Chloe, the five year old daughter of Kurt (striped shirt) from Pittsburgh. Read the transcript from the Rush Limbaugh show that describes how this meeting happened.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Kurt in Pittsburgh, hello, sir. Nice to have you on the EIB Network, and how about the Steelers defense?
CALLER: How about those Steelers, huh?
RUSH: How about that?
CALLER: Hey, listen, Rush, longtime listener, first-time caller, one of those Bible, family, gun clingers from western Pennsylvania.
RUSH: Thank you.
CALLER: And I wanted to share a story with you. A week ago last Saturday we went to the Palin-McCain rally in Washington, Pennsylvania, was the day after he announced her, and we have a five-year-old daughter with Down syndrome, and we made a sign that said: "We Love Kids with Down Syndrome." So when they pulled in in their bus the sign did catch their, McCain and Palin and the rest of their family, it caught their eye, we could tell, they gave us a thumbs-up from the bus, so we were all excited just by that --
RUSH: Wait, wait, wait. Who gave you the thumbs up, McCain and Palin?
CALLER: McCain, Palin, Cindy McCain, we could see them from the bus. We were in a position where we had eye contact with them --
RUSH: Oh, cool!
CALLER: My wife was holding our daughter.
RUSH: Very, very, very cool.
CALLER: It was really cool, Rush. I was like, "Wow, that's awesome," because I love Governor Palin and so I thought that's really neat. So then we moved around as the bus was getting ready to pull out, we kind of positioned ourselves so we could just wave them on and a Secret Service agent came up to us and said, "Hey, can you come with us?" I was like, "Do we have a choice?"
RUSH: (laughing) You shouldn't have worried. It's not the Clinton administration.
CALLER: Right. So we accompanied them up the hill, we went right to the bus, where it was, and Governor Palin, Senator McCain, Cindy, Todd Palin, they're all standing there. We're in this inner circle with just us and them, and the Secret Service agent, and they came right up to us and thanked us for coming out, said they loved our sign, and Governor Palin immediately said, "May I hold your daughter?" and our daughter Chloe, who's five, went right to her, and I have some pictures I'd love to send you maybe when I'm done here, but Governor Palin was hugging Chloe, and then her little daughter brought their baby Trig who has Down syndrome from the bus, he was napping, and Chloe went right over and kissed him on the cheek, and my son Nolan who's nine, he thanked her.
RUSH: This is amazing.
CALLER: I will send you all the stuff, Senator McCain was talking to my son, and we thanked him for his service, and he asked my son if he wanted to see the bus, and we were hanging out and it was very surreal. I felt like we could have had a pizza and a beer with them, they were so warm.
RUSH: You know what? I want to put you on hold. I want Snerdley to give you our super-secret, known-only-to-three-people here, e-mail address.
CALLER: I will send you everything, Rush.
RUSH: And then could you send us these pictures? Would you mind if we put them on the website?
CALLER: I would be honored, and my main thing is they are warm, kind, genuine people, and they represent the best of this country.
RUSH: That's right. And when you send these pictures, make sure you identify them. I mean, we'll know Palin and McCain, of course. Identify yourselves.
CALLER: I will, I will identify everybody in the picture, Rush, and God bless you for being a beacon of hope and truth in this country.
RUSH: Oh, no, no. It's nothing, it's nothing. You're doing the Lord's work.
CALLER: Well, we're very blessed and I want people to know what a blessing it is to have a child with Down syndrome. These kids, they're angels.
RUSH: That's the thing. There's always good to be found in everything that happens. It may be a while before it reveals itself.
CALLER: Absolutely.
RUSH: Right,
CALLER: And when she hugged my daughter I said, here's the difference, this candidate embraces life and all its limitless possibilities.
RUSH: All right.
CALLER: That's what she is.
RUSH: Terrific, okay, I gotta run here, but I'm going to put you on hold.
CALLER: Thank you, Rush.
RUSH: Thank you, Kurt. I really appreciate it.

Media Trickery and Game Playing

History is an interesting teacher. Looking back at the Kennedy-Nixon debates people pretty much agree that Nixon won on the issues, but Kennedy won the hearts of enough voters to win -- with a little help from the media who made him look good while ambushing Nixon. Nixon's makeup job was bad and he looked like he had five o'clock shadow. It would be interesting to review the TV coverage and see how lighting, camera angle, etc. were used during the debate.
Why am I bringing that up? Because a Hollywood director started a blog comparing the Obama/Gibson interview with the Palin/Gibson interview. It's a fascinating piece of work showing how lighting, camera angle, position, etc. make Palin look weak against the dominant Gibson. This is media bias, of course, but from the sneaky school. Can you see the backroom meeting at Good Morning America?

Charlie: Let's see. I have to be careful in my interview not to be too aggressive because if our bias is too blatant it will damage Obama. Hey, Joe (cameraman), what can you do with camera shots to make Palin look bad?
Joe: Hey, I'm your man. We got lots of ways: angle, position. I'll take care of it.
Charlie: Jane (lighting), how about working with Joe on this. I'm sure you have some lighting tricks that can help make the point that she's a dumb brunette unfit to be next in line for the presidency.
Jane: You got it, boss.
Charlie: Kay (editor), I'll need your help too.
Kay: Sure, Charlie. You want waffle? weak? shifty? I can do 'em all. We'll make her look like the idiot she is. Damn! It'll be fun.
Charlie: I trust all you guys to make sure this interview loses votes for the McCain/Palin ticket. Let's roll.

Is this far-fetched? In view of the Atlantic Monthly scandal over Jill Greenberg's photo manipulation, I'd say it's downright understated. I'm sad, though. I used to like Charlie Gibson when he was a host on the morning show. Since he took over as an anchor, his bias is just too blatantly obvious. Gosh, next it'll be Robin Roberts.
For the real dope on media bias visit the Media Research Center. They have a section on the trashing of Sarah Palin. All this liberal hysteria to discredit Sarah Palin, sure makes her an attractive candidate.
