Parallel with the Temptation of Jesus

Jesus said no. Muhammad said yes.
Note: To research Islam, I like to use older references from at least a century before political correctness set in.

Observation:  From Islam’s 7th century beginning to 1947 it was always considered a heretical religion. There was no great central thought or myriad Abrahamic Islamic references to Muhammad or the Koran, and no religion of peace myth. Suddenly in the 1960s Islam was elevated to an Abrahamic Faith equivalent to Judaism and Christianity, and Muhammad was then mythically referred to as a peaceful prophet who had received revelations from God. The world, having accepted this politically correct myth, is suddenly aghast at the wrath of ISIS, the killings, rapes, and executions, however, expecting peace and love from a heretical demonic religion of hate, after having given it the advantage of the benefit of the doubt since 1960, is the ultimate textbook example of blind unrealistic liberal naiveté.

Another Storm, Another Round of Hysteria...

I will take away the stony heart
 out of your flesh, and
I will give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26
...about Global Warming Climate Change. Folks, don't listen to the hysterics. It's Nature, not Man! And it's nothing new.

I do agree with the hysterical Chicken Littles in one respect, however. Yes, these storms are a warning, but not about global warming or climate change. They warn us that we need to change our hearts.

Just as Noah's building project was commissioned because of sin and Jonah's mission was a warning to repent and the Star of Bethlehem announced God's intervention in human history, and Jesus performed signs and wonders -- these attention-grabbing events are for our good. "Hey, people, pay attention. I'm God and you're not! Get with the program."

Actually, every single glory of nature should get our attention:

Is the Tail Wagging the Dog? Hey, Just Hire Your Protest Crowd!

How much Soros money is fueling protests
around the country and the world?
I used to think all the talk about George Soros funding groups to hire protesters was overblown. Well, a little investigating is making it look a lot more reasonable.

Have you heard about the Craig's List ad offering $25 an hour to actors and photographers for protests and rallies in Charlotte, NC? It was for real - posted by a crowd company that, for a fee, will provide you with actors and photographers to make your event look bigger than it really is so you can manipulate the outcome.

You got an issue? Just hire a crowd.

In Connection with My Last Post

?????????????????
First grader sent to office for ‘misgendering’ fellow student

The poor little child called a boy in her class the name he went by in Kindergarten and was punished for it when he tattled to a teacher. Now we have a little boy suffering from gender confusion bullying a traumatized little girl who is punished because she didn't get the memo about his "transitioning ceremony" the week before. Get out the barf bags! This is all being generated by adults. That little boy had to be coached by his parents and teachers to run and tell if somebody dared to call him his old name. That's bullying, doncha know!

The Queering of America and What it Will Mean to Your Children?

Where the queering of America began
Visiting my doctor this morning, I spoke to a young millennial about the state of the world. She has a little girl and we talked about the impact children make on your outlook. It completely changes because they give you a stake in the future.

She and I (She said I sounded like her parents.) are both concerned about the future. What kind of America will our children and grandchildren grow up in? What impact will the gender idiocy have on their lives? Maybe the pertinent question is what impact is it having already?

For two 16-year-old girls in Illinois, it meant jail. What was their crime? They leafleted their high school parking lot with fliers depicting a photo of a male classmate kissing another boy. The flier apparently also had an unkind homosexual slur which the media didn't identify. The flier didn't threaten anyone with violence; at worst it was an unkind act. Nevertheless, the girls were incarcerated for 18 days in a juvenile detention center wearing shackles for their "hate" crime. They were then sentenced to a year's probation, 40 hours of community service, and had to write letters of apology to the arresting officer (for fleeing the scene) and the boy in the photograph.  And this was ten years ago in 2007! The gay agenda has made giant leaps in muzzling free speech since then.

Can We Disband the Circular Firing Squads...Please? The Shameful Attack by James Hitchcock on The Wanderer

My friend Dexter Duggan writes for The Wanderer. He lives in the Southwest so he experiences first-hand the devastation of the illegal invasion along the border and often explores the impact. I always look for Dexter's articles because he is insightful, but always charitable in his criticism of policies that are destroying our national character and threatening our safety.

So I've watched with alarm the attack on Dexter and The Wanderer by Catholic historian, Professor James Hitchcock, and, frankly, I find it baffling. It isn't anything new though. Chris Manion, another Wanderer contributor, addressed the issue in 2007, the 140th anniversary year of the paper, after Hitchcock attacked The Wanderer in the Human Life Review. Manion, who admired Hitchcock's work, interviewed him and The Wanderer gave the professor 3,000 words on the front page to express his concerns. What was his response? A year later he went after The Wanderer again with some specific swipes at Chris Manion. Just goes to show, no good deed goes unpunished.

Houston, We Have a Problem! The Warning of Jonah

Hurricane Harvey makes landfall near
Corpus Christi.
Remember when God sent Jonah to Nineveh to warn the people to repent? After a rocky start with the prophet fleeing in the opposite direction and being punished by being swallowed by a whale and spending three days in penance, Jonah did as God asked. He walked through the city warning the people to repent. They did.

God sometimes uses big events to get our attention and the storm in Houston is a big event. Keep in mind that in 2010 Houston built the biggest abortion mill in the world outside of China right smack dab in the middle of four minority neighborhoods. Here's what Catholic Exchange wrote at the time:

Thought for Sunday: If you want to restore your sanity...

...spend time with children!

My husband and I belong to a square dance camping club. We dance and camp one weekend a month from April through October. This weekend we were at Colonial Beach and took along two little granddaughters to join in the fun. And fun it was! We swam in the pool, played mini golf, went to a thrift store, ate ice cream, line danced, did the hokey pokey, ate more ice cream, admired the many murals in town, waded in the river, walked out on the pier and met a fisherman from Woodbridge who showed us his catch including a fat catfish and some "spots" who were gasping which was a little disturbing to two little sensitive animal lovers who have a tank full of fish, three turtles, and a bunny back home.

...And Then There Was Phoenix

As I said before, Charlottesville was a setup. The way things went in Phoenix just makes that more clear. The police in Phoenix did what police are trained to do. Clearly, the liberal mayor and other politicians in Charlottesville wanted violence and that's why they didn't let the police do their job. They closed down the rally and then maneuvered the Nazis into the crowd of Antifa anarchists and Communists. The violent result was absolutely predictable.

Read about Phoenix here and then watch Trump's terrific speech. You can hate Trump all you want. He is saying things that no president, Democrat or Republican, has said in years. That's why the mainstream media hate him and mainstream Americans love him. Stop watching the media and watch Trump's speeches. He's after the media and it's high time someone was. They deserve the condemnation. As a pro-lifer, I've watched the media spin for years. This is personal for me and I love it.  Thank you, President Trump, for confronting the bigotry and censorship of the liberal media.
