Editor's note: I met Will Goodman a few years ago when I participated in a Red Rose 
Rescue as a sidewalk supporter. I was impressed by his spirit of gentleness and his love for the Lord. Now he's in jail, who knows for how long? Like the J6 prisoners, some of whom remain untried and unsentenced for their "crimes," the rescuers may remain in jail for months waiting...and waiting...and waiting.

The right to a speedy trial has disappeared in this country which is rapidly becoming a banana republic run by corrupt politicians who use the "justice" system to stifle the voices and suppress the actions of their adversaries. The only reason these pro-lifers remain in prison is because their non-violent attempt to save lives was defined as violent because they were charged under the FACE Act. Like Humpty Dumpty in Wonderland, when our tinpot tyrants use words they mean exactly what they want them to mean. They twist and distort reality all they want.

I wrote the piece below in 2003 during the drawn out court battle trying to save Terri Schiavo. Two years later, her family lost the fight and she was starved and dehydrated to death dying on March 31, 2005. Her murder followed that of Hugh Finn and many others sacrificed on Moloch's altar. They have been joined since then by tens of thousands of others only a few of whom make the news like baby Alfie Evans.

Terri Schindler, a Retrospective -- The Murder of the Innocent and Vulnerable Continues!

A pro-life colleague called me last night to pick my brain about the Terri Schindler Schiavo euthanasia murder of fifteen years ago. We both travelled to Florida at the time to participate in a press conference outside the nursing home where Michael Schiavo had Terri under police guard to make sure no one gave her a sip of water or a bite of food. Like the infants left on the hillside to perish in ancient Rome, Terri too had to die -- burning up like the Christians Nero covered in pitch and lit on fire to illuminate his garden.  And local authorities would ensure no rescuers, including Terri's parents and siblings, could intervene. The horror included Michael, Terri's husband, and his paramour covering Terri in blankets to increase her dehydration.

from Planned Parenthood. And so she was dumped, very deliberately, with a colony of stinging red ants nearby.  The lid of the drain had to be pried off to leave her there...and to rescue her!

My colleague Janet at Restore DC Catholicism posted a great video on the nine ways individuals participate in the sins of others. Cooperation with evil is, in fact, evil.

You don't have to commit a murder to be a party to it. The boyfriend who urges and pays for his girlfriend's abortion is every bit as guilty of killing their baby (perhaps more so) as the mother who agrees to it. The nurse who neglects a patient at the order of a doctor, participates in the death that follows. All those silent staff members complicit in the starvation and dehydration of Terri Schiavo were cooperators in her deliberate murder including Bishop Lynch of St. Petersburg, FL who aided and abetted it using his bully pulpit to endorse it. In 2007 when Lynch retired, Bobby Schindler wrote an open letter decrying the bishop's support for Terri's euthanasia saying, "When bishops don't do their job, innocent people die."

Alfie Evans is dead -- murdered very systematically by a tyrannical health service backed up by a liberal, gay friendly judge. It's no real surprise, is it? We're accustomed to the headlines. We followed the story of Charlie Gard. 

As a mother and grandmother I have a hard time wrapping my mind around this kind of evil where doctors and judges can snatch the authority over children from good parents who love and care for their little ones and deliberately conspire to kill them. Why?

Nurses' Association Joins the Death Peddlers

Remember the midwives of Egypt during the slave days of the chosen people? They refused to kill the male babies telling the authorities that the Israelite women delivered without their help before they could arrive. Hence, they avoided becoming cooperators in infant killing. 

But that was then and this is now.

The American Nurses Association (ANA) recently amended their statement on Nutrition and Hydration at the End of Life. The amended document approves of assisting patients to kill themselves by starvation and dehydration, even those who are suffering from dementia. The language is specifically geared to make their decision sound like it respects the dignity of the patient, as if any preference of a patient is legitimate. But what this does is to endanger nurses who don't want to cooperate in evil, as well as the patients for whom they care.

Remember when God sent Jonah to Nineveh to warn the people to repent? After a rocky start with the prophet fleeing in the opposite direction and being punished by being swallowed by a whale and spending three days in penance, Jonah did as God asked. He walked through the city warning the people to repent. They did.

God sometimes uses big events to get our attention and the storm in Houston is a big event. Keep in mind that in 2010 Houston built the biggest abortion mill in the world outside of China right smack dab in the middle of four minority neighborhoods. Here's what Catholic Exchange wrote at the time:

During the agony in the U.K. over precious sick baby Charlie Gard, I kept thinking of the soup nazi on the TV comedy Seinfeld. Only the fight wasn't an on-going joke over a bowl of soup, but a real-life struggle over the life of a child and the parental rights of his mom and dad.

You can tell a lot about the philosophy of a person by the decisions he makes. There isn't much online about Nicholas Francis, the presiding high court judge who ruled over the Charlie Gard case. But he clearly has little regard for the Catholic teaching that parents are the primary decision makers over their children. Francis ruled in favor of the hospital's death wish every time the parents appeared in court.

Life Legal Defense Foundation made Herculean efforts to save little Israel Stinson from forced death by the ghouls at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The "city of angels" apparently harbors plenty of devils who see a brain damaged child as a burden to be eliminated as quickly as possible. Read what happened and then think of what doctors in the Third Reich did to the "imperfect" including children. In his book, A Sign for Cain, Frederic Wertham, MD describes how little ones were starved to death in a sterile hospital room with a "geranium in the window." Under the euthanasia program, doctors killed children with deformed ears or those with bed-wetting problems. Wertham writes:

The latest Islamic terrorist attack in San Bernardino got me thinking about how these episodes are portrayed.

Have you noticed how, when any violence occurs even in the vicinity of an abortion mill, the media goes into a feeding frenzy? They profile all pro-lifers as crazed terrorists. What are the facts? Since abortion was legalized fewer than a dozen abortionists have been killed and, in more than one case, the murderer has been a mentally unstable individual with no connections to the pro-life movement at all. But that doesn't prevent the mendacious media working for the New York Times or the Washington Post from vicious slanders about those "extremist pro-life Christians!"

Compare that with the way they bend over backwards to avoid profiling Islamic terrorists as, well, Islamic terrorists. Immediately after revealing that the latest act of terrorism was committed by a devout Muslim, they bend over backwards pretending that Islam isn't Islam and that the believers are really "fundamentalists" who are betraying the "religion of peace." The real threat these mendacious reporters insist comes from pro-lifers who, because they oppose ripping babies bodies apart, stir up violence. I'm surprised they haven't figured out a way to blame pro-lifers for the latest atrocity in San Bernardino. But, give 'em time. No doubt they'll find a way even though the real comparison is between those who behead Christians and those who behead babies. Planned Parenthood is filled with domestic terrorists. If the babies could speak (as they will on Judgment Day), they would give articulate witness against the murderers of innocence.

I don't know who made this up, but it's sure true. And...their decisions have killed a lot more people than the Ku Klux Klan ever did. Think of Roe v. Wade, Casey, and Webster. When you consider that blacks represent only 12 or 13 percent of the population, but have almost 40% of the abortion --- well, the Supreme Court is clearly a racist body and enemy to blacks. Why isn't Al Sharpton out front picketing?

It's obviously a capitol crime these days to have dementia or Alzheimer's - such a crime that a judge can order execution based on little more than his own opinion and family members claiming the patient has a "death wish." The woman had no advance directive and those caring for her resisted the decision to no avail. In the Netherlands killing helpless people is becoming the "default" mode according to  Theo Boer, a Dutch academic.

The Price of Betrayal: Ten Years after Terri Schiavo's Murder by Neglect We Remember....

....that her husband Michael Schiavo, like Judas, collected his thirty pieces of silver by murdering someone close to him. In this case his blood money was Terri's medical trust fund which was worth almost $800,000 when she died. The quicker he killed her after the settlement, the more he received for the betrayal. And he did immediately begin efforts to kill her as soon as the money was awarded. Never forget Terri and the fight to protect the weak and vulnerable! Tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of Terri's death. Falling on Holy Thursday, the anniversary of Judas' betrayal the date is fitting. Pray for Michael who is spending the anniversary whining that Governor Jeb Bush, "Put Me Through Hell." The irony of the headline is that Jeb Bush can't send anyone to hell; But Michael's actions, for which he shows no regret or repentance at all, are, indeed, soul threatening. He would do well to reflect on hell and the mortally evil actions, like murder, that set one on the brink of the abyss! Those guilty of unrepented mortal sins will spend eternity in hell. Please pray for Michael Schiavo and all those complicit in Terri's murder that they will repent. And ask Terri and her deceased dad, Robert Schindler, to intercede for him as well. God does not desire the spiritual death of any of His children. Let us pray for all those who murder the innocent that they will repent and return to the Lord. Their number these days seems to be legion.
