In the wake of the shooting of late-term abortionist George Tiller, President Barack Obama sent out a welcome message that this nation would not tolerate attacks on pro-lifers or any other Americans because of their religion or beliefs.
Ha ha! Just kidding. That was the lead sentence -- with minor edits -- of a New York Times editorial warning about theoretical hate crimes against Muslims published eight months after 9/11. Can pro-lifers get a hate crimes bill passed and oceans of ink devoted to assuring Americans that "most pro-lifers are peaceful"?
For years, we've had to hear about the grave threat that Americans might overreact to a terrorist attack committed by 19 Muslims shouting "Allahu akbar" as they flew commercial jets into American skyscrapers. That would be the equivalent of 19 pro-lifers shouting "Abortion kills a beating heart!" as they gunned down thousands of innocent citizens in Wichita, Kan.
Why aren't liberals rushing to assure us this time that "most pro-lifers are peaceful"? Unlike Muslims, pro-lifers actually are peaceful. Read the rest...
Yes, Miss Coulter is right on target with this one. The satire in the last two paragraphs is priceless (based on a bit of satire or parody of pro-abortion rhetoric that Robert P. George wrote a few years ago).
ReplyDeleteMiss Coulter is "on target" --- if you consider the target as irrationality. Remember, this same peace-loving lady expressed disappointment that the Oklahoma City bomb wasn't left outside The New York Times' building.

ReplyDeleteI haven't one word of liberal outrage expressed against the neo-Muslem who shot the two young enlistees outside the Army/Navy recruitment center in Little Rock. Liberals are too busy taking advantage of the opportunity offered by Tiller's murder.

If we back the clock up to 1954, we learn of 5 men dressed as arabs who were about to blow up an American embassy and British embassy building in Cairo ( leaving lots of easy to find evidence, so investigators would know it was ARAB terrorists )
...had the bomb not malfunctioned! If the bomb had worked as planned, the world would NEVER have known the truth. It was not Arabs. Nor Persians from Iran. This murderous deed was planned and attempted
by the BEST bomb makers in the world, the Mossad, who were dressed as........... Arabs. Really?!
Coulter is one of those big proponents of an attack on Iran,
although I cannot name one nation Iran has attacked in
the past 300 years.
I can name at least 50 nations America attacked over the past 50 years.
By the way, I said this exact same thing on a talk radio program last year, and the host, a Neo-Con,had an on-the-air fit. He played my call over and over all morning, and called me a Nazi, isalomofascist,etc and had calllers call in to denounce my comments. I called the general mgr who said they insult people to boost ratings. One week Mexicans, nest week Chinese. Good ole right wing Christians as they call themselves. Geneva conventions are for wimps. When I look at the nations,firms and people who benefited the most from 9/11 and then see those are the same folks who did all they could to shut down any debate and prevent a full investigation into this criminal act, I cannot help but think of the Levon affair. Maybe I should ignore the fact thermite was found on the steel beams and assume the passport of a arab found on a pile of ashes really came from inside a plane that was vaporized on impact.
Tell me how a guy who cannot land a Cessna 172, can take a 757 off auto pilot, fly through cloud cover, do a 270 turn while moving 600 mph and hit a target with near perfect precision. As a pilot for 20 years, I am saying only an extremely gifted fighter pilot could pull that off. From cave dweller to crack jet pilot in 10 months, spare me.

Anonymous is a certifiable wacko. He apparently is a denier of everything: the holocaust, the fact that Moslems do such incredibly peaceful things as strap bombs on their children and send them to murder innocent people, that 9/11 is somehow a conspiracy (that leaves out the Pentagon and the airplane that went down in Pennsylvania) such immense denial requires a very high degree of selective awareness. Fire up the second neuron why don't you?

ReplyDeleteexcept in AC's world view. Criminal investigators look to means, motive and money when assessing suspects. When the planes went into towers on 911, nobody knew who did that. So it is extremely suspect that 5 men are set up with a video camera across the river jumping up and down,
and giving each other high fives, as they film it. They worked for a moving firm that shut down in days and the owner fled to Israel.
The 5 were ex military from Israel. This tells me Israel knew in advance of this attack.

your opinion. 34 Americans were murdered in cold blood that day, and 174 came very close to death.
